Exactly, I've not used either since the shops were removed.
As I mentioned earlier, it doesn't matter whether it's in stock or not, as long as you know where it has been..
How is it going with the database system? If it was too complicated I understand - if I had the skills to it myself I'd like to help, because such a site would be awesome..
I'm working on this; i'm not a php pro, so, i don't promise anything; it won't be perfect...
it's almost finished, i already created the database, but i have to figure out how to display everything well...
but i'm sure i can count on your help guys... soon you'll be able to submit the releases.

MND001 out now (nocturnal creatures)
Let me say this, and mark my words. I heard Deliverance for the first time on an internet show in Denmark and it is absolutely 100% mind blowing..
It's almost finished i believe, tell me what you think... i just added a few tracks, so i need your help to add more !
I don't think the submission needs an important protection system, so i just added a password, that users will be able to find here: it is
tanewreleases
I've done several entries, i don't know if i should remove or leave the "Style" and "URL" columns. Depends on the size of the database.
you can sort by artist, addition date, and release date (though the former ain't 100% working, don't know why the )
it's on the server of another website, i'll probably leave it there, and perhaps do a redirection...

Looks very good! I think you should leave the URL collum, as some releases are only for sale at certain record shops. Maybe you should make the url clickable and make a drop down menu of all previous used shop urls in the submit form? Makes it alot easier than typing the complete url each time.
Now let's hope alot of people will be submitting :)
Romain
ok, thanks Maarten. I've been trying to make a clickable url, with no success, but i'll try again... i'll also work on a list to choose the different shops, shouldn't be complicated.

For the list to choose from URLs which have been used before you could use something like this:

WOW! Hats off to Maarten. That truly is one of the coolest things I've ever seen. When I first made this thread, well the previous one, I never thought it would get this much attention and go this far. Its only a matter of time before the list is huge and breathtaking. I absolutely love this. Thanks again.
peace.

I have a couple of questions:
1. What if the release date changes, or its found out after the post, is there a way to edit it?
2. Is there anyway to include 2,3, or any amount of shops?

It wasn't me who made it it was Romain ;)

hehe thanks Maarten, seems like yor quite good in php programming.
i successed yesterday for the link, i just inserted some php into the a href... though your way looks even simplier
and for the list , i think it doesn't even require another request to the table.
your help is appreciated, i may require it again later, thanks ;)
Evan: this topic was a great idea, i was checking it every day, so i'm happy to help it going even further... also hope the list will become huge.
i may also do a "monthly" releases page, so we can check the releases of the current month.
Romain
list is done; just a html form.
submission should be quite easy and fast now fellow tas
