Hey here's my catch man?I'm a baptist, Fire and brimstone bible teachers! well here's the deal if you do follow the holy bible it also says love everyone [ i can be more specific but you guys get the point ] so it all depends on how you interpret the bible. Ya my mom is a baptist and thats how i started, she was taught the fire and brimstone way. she was in theatre and so as most of us would assume a lot of the males were gay, she never knew what gay was untill she left missouri and came to california [ hollywood to be more specific ] so it all depends on how YOU learn to except people, ya its not right, but hey w/e, thats kewl, dont let them ruin your night. Like others have said, Who cares if gays are there, your there for the dj. So unless you changed your reasons for going [ from seeing tiesto, to picking out all the gays in the club ] there shouldn't be any problem. You also said you've had gay friends before, right? well if that were the case you would have hopefully learned to just ignore it and know the person. You say your not a homophobe but you feel uncomfortable around gays???????? How does that work? all good though, so WHAT WHOULD I DO? I would go and not let " them " ruin your night, and Electronica Is again the universal language so there are always going to be a few in this genre, SO MIGHT AS WELL GET OVER IT! lol
P.S. dont flame me cause of my opinions on things please, i was answering a question to a topic, not to be flamed because of my opinion on some people in the topic :tongue2

Look I'm christian myself, the thing is the bible doesn't say you can't hang out with homosexual men or lesbians. Infact the bible teaches us tolerence towards individuals. You obviously have trouble addressing gay individuals as a majority, fact is your gunna run into more of them in life. Sure they are ez to deal with when is just you and your 1 friend. But u seem to be anxt. about a group of them, Where you'd feel out of place, the minority.
Face your fear, you'll find its not bad, if they hit on you which I doubt, you should feel flattered. Men are way more open about expression than women, you can guage where u stand, u hot or not? Great confidence booster, also gay poeple are a totally diff. paradigm somthing new, something ur not used to might be fun. Girls were scary till you found out they were fun right? Djing in front of a crowds scary till u get up there right?
If your really that ing afraid, you might wanna ask urself why. Is it, I don't feel comofortable being looked upon as a piece of ass? I haven't ever fully made sure I was straight so I might find out I'm gay, bi kinda thing? Either way if you wanna avoid gay men hitting on you dress straight.
Don't trim your nails prior,
Go irish, don't shower, spritz on cologn and some deoderant
Wear baggy pants that hide ur figure,
Wear something hetero like a beer shirt, frat shirt, what have u

i am sorry but i just can't let this go.
it makes me sad when people use the bible to justify themselves.
you have taken your interprapation of the bible to create your own religion which allows you to do as you may and still reach heaven. i can easily say i don't think God will hold me accountable for this one minor evil that I do. what is the point of heaven then.
what may be my weakness may not be yours. aren't rules made so everyone has to follow them. if God didn't want gays he sure didn't make them that way. Why do some people feel the urge to murder or do some other crazy extreme like that will the rest of us go around all normal. God made them this way therefore they can't be held accountable. no!!!
don't lie to yourself friend. since you are religous. don't base your salvation on a theory that helps you get along easier. |

I have no problems with gays and if you read what i said correctly you would have noticed that i said I DONT CARE IF PEOPLE ARE GAY. plus i would go see dj tiesto play, i wouldn't care who the was there, i wouldn't care if a fellow enemy was there. because its not about them its about the music, so go yourself.
