| What do you guys think the most monumental (or scary) birthday is? For me it was my 20th! I knew once I turned 20 I could no longer fuk around the way I could as a teenager and not feel guilty about it. |

hmmm ok... i don't really know what to answer.
but the worst birthday is when you spend it alone :( happened a couple of times I think.
My last birthday was cool tho, about 10 TAs plus 5 friends got all drunk and danced to cheeze music in a vip room at a club:D |

My worst birthday was the last year's birthday :whip:
I was alone (of course a part of my family was) but without friends, I didn't go anywhere... |

My birthdays used to suck as a kid, because they were right smack in that in-between period between school and camp (July 3rd), so I got the royal shaft.
Things've been better since my 18th, I think. That was when I'd been in university for a while, had lots of friends there, could sorta just go out. So as a routine I spend one token night with the family (not that I dislike it, just isn't a real party), and one with friends or at a club or somethin'.
Worst party is, I agree, being alone. I suppose the very worst party would be if you weren't supposed to be alone - i.e. if you invited all your friends and no one came. :p |

my birthday is july 3 as well, but being on the bottom side of the planet, that's the middle of winter.
I was dreading my next birthday (30) until I figured I'm a lot younger in spirit than I was at 20. Started doing a lot more new things recently. Took up djing at 28, now I'm learning to surf and stuff like that. And i'm in better shape now than I was at 20. I can accept now that i'll never win the stanley cup, but all up turning 30 isn't as bad as I though it was going to be. |

It certainly felt that way when I was 19...
Nowadays (turning 24 next Dec) I feel the 20s rule :D. You take FULL control of your life, and that's great.
My worst birthday was when I was 10. I didn't want to have birthday party, and my mother made THE HELL OF A PARTY with about 50 friends of mine, all my frigging family, about 80 people in total. I think I should have enjoyed it back then... dunno why the I didn't want to celebrate, anyway I was pissed off and didn't enjoy it at all. |
