100 is 4
101 is 5
110 is 6

this is correct
binary works like this
from right to left
1st bit = 1
2nd bit = 2
3rd bit = 4
4th bit = 8
5th bit = 16
.. and keeps doubling
so...
11111111 = 256 (do the math)
and
10000000=128
and so on
..i'm such a geek, help! |

Binary is blah.
For example, 54 in binary would be:
code:
128 64 32 16 8 4 2 1
0 0 1 1 0 1 1 0
You just go from left to right "checking" all the numbers you need. |

This theory has the fewest holes in it that I can find out of any of the theories out there... check it out if you want to waste a few hours...
