Things that annoy you most about TA (pg. 12)

Oh, thought of a few additions with the recent posts:
To the attention whore list:
-> I need a job
-> I got an interview!
-> I got a job!
-> I hate my job!
-> Threads titled "hahaha", "read this!", "check this out!", etc.
To the horny and desperate list:
-> Why aren't there more females on TA?
-> Where did go?
-> , why aren't you on MSN!?
Having said that, random flirtation doesn't bother me, as long as it's in good taste.
I'm not annoyed, but I do think it's funny, to see people fawning over the Toronto TA's that I see every week. :p You guys are pathetic, there are hotties everywhere! |

All elitists are equally ing lame, be it trance elitists, prog elitists, techno elitists and if you go into the software world, there's Linux elitists who'll hate anything remotely related to Microsoft just because of the name.
What makes me laugh so hard about music snobs however, is the fact that they consider "their" music to be so much more intelligent than somebody elses, yet they always make absolutely ignorant and chilidsh statements. Somewhat hypocritical if you ask me. :rolleyes: |

For the sake of not degenerating this thread any further than it's current state, I'll assume that wasn't a personal attack.
I chose those exact words in the quote that you quoted to highlight that same hypocrisy about which you speak.;) |

I don't do personal attacks, so you can now safely confirm that assumption. :)

I'd certainly agree with you there, but everyone carries bias with them to the table when it's something so personal and emotionally moving as their taste in music.

My gosh, what bugs me is trance elitists (COUGH*TAHA*COUGH).
I remember when I was in funky house mode, earlier this year, I put Lottie (the very talented dj) in my avatar and taha cried about it saying she was ugly and house sucked. Then again, for his information, without house, you don't have techno which led to trance.
the vandit batty alliance still bothers me, hyping average tracks like they are the greatest thing since sliced bread. Get with the times and people who hate ppl who slag tiesto, armin, ferry and pvd. Get real, not everyone has to worship them like they are the greatest people. |

actually most of us do, just some ppl let their friends slide which honestly sucks. That has hopefully changed for the most part. If something really exceeds the limit, show me and if it needs to be edited then it will be. Everyone should play by the rules and btw the mods know who edited who's sigs now. |
