Drugs & Trance???? why?

i always see @ partys, more and more and more drugs. i used it too, but not now, and i woun't use it in the future!
but do the people have to use drugs? why? isn't the real drug trance? is that not enough?
what do you think about it?

Actually I don't think you have to use drugs to listen to Trance.
It might be true for other styles of electronic music, but not for trance !!
IMHO, most electronic music is really monotone and it really gets on your nerves after a while. Drugs help solve this problem :)
Trance on the other hand is not monotone, so you can listen to it for hours and hours and not get bored.

| me and my friends don't use drugs and it doesn't bother me that other people DO use it as long as they don't start behaving agressive. drugs were there during flower power and they are still here. in the trance scene, the hardrock scene .. everywhere. |

| For me at least, it's not that the music isn't "good enough" to enjoy without drugs. It is, and I don't have a problem raving or listening to it sober. But on the other hand, the entire experience is often more fun with drugs in my opinion. Just like some people go to socials and drink... same thing with drugs at raves/clubs. |

| There have been many threads like this here and on other websites too. Anyway, if someone gets better vibes doing xtc or whatever; fine. I don't use drugs. The music is enough. Respect the choices other people make, whatever they are. That's what PLUR is all about. |

| for me..it's all about the music. i did drugs at the parties a few times, but didn't really like it too much. it took away form the music rather than added to it. if you really need the drugs to have a good time at a party, then you have a problem with the music. or with yourself. form where i stand...it should always be about the music. ;) |

| Ok, so I don't have massive amounts of experience, but seemingly drugs, if you are wise and well informed can be a great time themselves which is why they are addictive and popular. A rave, party or something similar can be an interesting venue for this, but what I have noticed is that whenever drugs are brought into the picture they control everything else - esp. if you can't remember what happened during their usage. peace. |

sometimez, itz just nice to relax while the speakerz are pumping the music through your body and it feelz like your whole body is vibrating to the tune...heh...and there are other timez where that bottle of water is just what you need to keep going

this might be a bad attitude.
but why not?
drugs are bad for you.. but only in moderation.
if you are a smart user, you wont end up hurt or even fried.
dance safe.. drink water.. party fun, and dont go home till the morning sun is up, theres my advice.
