Big up, Big up, is a stick up, stick up
and I'm shootin' niggaz quick with my hiccup
don't let me throw my clip up
in your back and headpiece
the opposite of peace sending momduke a wreath

Yup, it was. On clear red vinyl. That was one of the hardest to find. The b-side is Control, a real minimal track that could pass for electro today.

I still feel that Naive Art was one of the greatest albums ever written.

You know that *edit* It was Mark that died, not Chris *edit* Renolds the vocalist, died earlier this year?

I was a rockfan first and foremost.....and still really am

Listen to a lot of Metallica, Pink Floyd, Beastie Boys, Radiohead

Recently started getting into emo.......absolutely love Brand New, their album is one of the best I've heard in a few years. Also Taking Back Sunday, and a few others, but like i said just started liking this stuff half a year ago.

Song wise.........I cannot get Johnny Cash - Hurt out of my head. There is somehting incredibly special bout that track, not everyone sees it, but definitley changes my mood everytime i hear it. I was never much of a NIN fan, so this was my first exposure to the song.

bush: ahead of its time????
i find that statement amusing.

in the "rock" world, sigur ros and radiohead. both amazing bands. i recommend sigur ros to everyone that hasn't heard them. amazing, ing band. icelandic + jibberish for vocals, basically used as an instrument, guitar with an ebo. man, this band is so unconventional and so ing good.

i'd say mostly classic rock and 80s, with a bit of pop/rap/hiphop stuff thrown in because i am a college student. favorite bands: U2, the black crowes, led zeppelin, the doors, red hot chili peppers (and not just their new stuff), pink floyd, metallica, guns n roses, the cure, bon jovi, al green... whole bunch of other stuff that i can't think of offhand.

sometimes i think i was really meant to be this age in the 60s when rock and roll was still fresh and more than music and money. or an 80s rock queen!
