99% that South Africa gets it. They would have gotten it in 2002 wasnt it for Franz Beckenbauer's ambition to take i to Germany :D They deserve it to be honest and it's a shame Germany got it if u ask me. Then again it'll close to me and I'll be sure to go to some games.
All I know about Morocco is that Haji owned in France 98, that you have good food (Morrocon Jews in Israel brought lots good meals!) and hot girls. But that doesnt give you the right to bash SA ;) As for security..if my memory serves me right there was a car bombing in Casablance this or last year..resulting in several deaths. |

better weather conditions ? when it's summer up here it's winter for them , which means south africa has to host the world cup in the winter (never seen before) , besides i don't know what's wrong with the moroccan weather ? we have one of the best and diverse weather in the world
south africa has a longer tradition in football ? false false and false , rugby and cricket are more popular than football in south africa ! south africa started to get some recognition internationnaly only in 1996 and morocco is way better in international competitions and we were there waaaay before them (we played the world cup more than them , we were also the first african team to go to the second round) !
south africa doesn't have security (i dare you to go out at night and stop at the red light with your car)
south africa has an incredible high rate of AIDS (which is sad)
south africa still deals with post-apartheid problems ! |
nonetheless, South-Africa will get it
talking about the weather during the world cup, which weather type is better?
40 degrees celsius (during the World Cup in America)
30 - 35 degrees (South Korea)
25 - 35 degrees (France)
or 15 - 20 degrees celsius, which it will be in South Africa. Not so good for the supporters, but very nice weather for the football-players |

| football's a winter sport u need it to be windy (adds unpredictabilty when u kick the ball high), mud (for slide tackling and doing stupid dive celebrations when u score) and it has to be freezing so u have to run around more to try and keep warm |

| i really dont know what to say specially members from europe why?if morocco will host 2010 so it will be more near and easier to reach morocco better to take a flight from europe to SOUTH AND SOUTH AFRICA???!!THINK ABOUT IT LOGICALLY.:tongue3 :tongue3 |

| thinking logically, players don't fly back and forth between home and the host country between games. the length of travel to the host country is insignificant. Both countries are on perfect time zones for european audiences, so nothing doing there. Infrastructure and local support is the only reasl areas they can battle, but really it will be decided on what they can offer other countries in return for their vote. SA's biggest advantage should be a healthy dose of guilt for giving the '06 cup to germany |

tubby if i follow what you said , then MOROCCO SHOULD GET IT ! wanna know why ? in 1994 USA got it with a difference of two votes , same happened for 1998 with France ... let me add you this is the 4th time we're asking for it !
by the way did you watch the presentations today ? morocco had the BEST presentation and a very symbolic message with the keys ... :) |

Come off it mate... if you haven't been to SA don't make stupid comments. I have lived here all my life and its really not as bad as you make it out to be. I go out all the time and yes I do stop at red lights. Despite all out apparent faults the fact of the matter is that we have hosted 2 world cups already (cricket and rugby) narrowly missed out on the football 4 years ago and the olympics, and FIFA (unanamously) chose us.
and all the bad guys here are moroccan anyway... hahaha just kidding |
