my home country looks wonderful , well they showed only the good thigns i must admit , but it's a well made video and i think we have all the chances to host World Cup 2010 , our only serious opponent is South Africa.
watch the video and tell me what you think about it , btw the sound track is great , it's a mixture of oriental sounds with house music and later with Gnawa also :)

WOW! That utterly blew me away!
The music is extraordinarily fitting and emotional, it almost put a tear to my eye. I think you have realistic chances of hosting the utmost event in the world in 2010. Morocco is a beautiful country, and though I don’t have but a few photos to remember my stay at Casablanca some 18 years ago, this video puts everything in perspective in the most gorgeous way. Morocco is a country of so much charm and I know it’s a nation deeply in love with its football; I remember Brussels in 94 when green jerseys with Mustafa Hagi on the back were more ubiquitous than anything else. Morocco’s proximity to the old continent will surely have a noteworthy impact on FIFA’s final decision; the country seems to have all the prerequisites to host the biggest event in African history. I sincerely wish you luck and hope you attain your goal.

South-Africa is has better infrastructure, better weather conditions and English speaking people.
South-Africa has also a longer tradition in football.
Therefore they should do Worldcup 2010!
PS: It's already a fact that SA will have the Worldcup to make up for Germany getting it in 2006... |

better weather conditions ? when it's summer up here it's winter for them , which means south africa has to host the world cup in the winter (never seen before) , besides i don't know what's wrong with the moroccan weather ? we have one of the best and diverse weather in the world
south africa has a longer tradition in football ? false false and false , rugby and cricket are more popular than football in south africa ! south africa started to get some recognition internationnaly only in 1996 and morocco is way better in international competitions and we were there waaaay before them (we played the world cup more than them , we were also the first african team to go to the second round) !
south africa doesn't have security (i dare you to go out at night and stop at the red light with your car)
south africa has an incredible high rate of AIDS (which is sad)
south africa still deals with post-apartheid problems ! |

yup it's all about politics that's why i'm confident it's gonna be moroccao ;) you know why ? spain/france/uk and all the other european countries have more interest in investing in morocco than south africa ;) and we are (almost) in the center of the world , it's easy for all the supporters to come to morocco (train/boat/car/plane) than travelling all the way down to south africa ;)
btw if morocco gets the world up , ALL TAs can stay at my house FOR FREE :D |

well done video but could have been a lot better
why spend time showing you have McDonalds, supermarkets, mobile phones and x-ray machines at airports, all countries have that. Should have been more on the culture and how an Islamic (or semi islamic) and African country would make a completely diff experience for a world cup.
But saying that im sure the World Cup will be in Africa and it is either Morroco or SA. Morocco would stand a much beter chance if they were to join with Tunisia and possibly Eygpt, can't imagine Libya being too popular though!
Liked the clubbing schemes and the DJ doing a bit of scratching.
Looks a beautiful country, much greener than i imagined and certainly wouldnt have thought there's skiing although i did no they got snow on the Atlas Mts.
Finally what the f*ck was that bridge about joining Spain and Morocco :eyes: , not likely! |
