Pink Floyd were one of the first groups to have a play with atmospherics and synthesisers... some of the stuff is very closely linked to some of the chill-out trancey stuff we hear today...
for me its dark side of the moon, and whatever that one is where he flicks his teeth loads and sez "marmalade? i like marmalade... and toast... marmalade on toast" its in mad...

Great track, I have always liked floyd
One of the 1st singles i ever bought was Brick in the Wall part 1
The Film was and is a mind blower
so many ppl still do not "get" the meaning of that film

Wow, you people impress me yet again. Being older I always have wondered what you all enjoy outside of Trance, its great to see you enjoy Pink Floyd :)
Anyways, I love Dark Side of the Moon, but I love the Pulse Live set, couldn't ask for better from Pink Floyd.
I was lucky enough to see them live back in 1994, that was an amazingly fun time. It was amazing to see so many people smoking weed there at the concert, they didn't even try to hide it.. The smell was overwhelming and this was at an outdoor concert!
My favorite tracks have to be, Wish you were here, Comfotably Numb, and of course Another brick in the Wall :) |

actually the two dudes i know that spin happen to both have pink floyd the wall in there vinyl collection. i guess everyone ends up with that vinyl at some time. |
