Tiesto #1 (pg. 3)

It's a popularity contest. There's no point in arguing what a DJ has done over the past year. Tiesto could stop DJing for a year altogether and he'd still be in the Top Ten just due to his name.

Get over it. :nervous:

Yes it also entails mixing well and putting together good sets, which Mr. Verwest also hasn't done this year.

And I've seen him live to know it first hand.

True, but still -- Tiesto is Tiesto. =p

I don't think so.

seriously the best trance dj act i've seen this year was corsten in march, one of the best parties i've been to ever.

paul van dyke was boring, tiesto was very good, armin even better, j00f very good, ornadel<--- so so, gielen<-- cheezah

it's amazing how some people in here are just never satisfied with what they've got. they turn to new djs like new fads.

funny how it's similar to pop kids that listen to the newest britney or christina or alizée.

oh, WAIT!! wait a minute, it *is* different, because kids that listen to pop don't go out and BASH the 'artists' they used to support and obsess over.

kind of sad, really. i, for one, thought that us tranceheads had a sense of decency, a sense of community, a sense of brotherhood.

just goes to show...:(

New DJs?

that - my favourite DJs are the ones that have been around forever - in the trance world, Christopher Lawrence, Johan Gielen, Ferry Corsten, Misja Helsloot... mind you... Paul van Dyk has been around for a long time too!

I just think Tiesto has gone progressively downhill and didn't deserve that spot... yes he's improved over this past year, but Armin for example has done SO much for the scene (weekly radio shows!)

I'm not bashing Tiesto, I never said he sucked, I just don't think he should be #1. He's the most popular, not the best, and I don't like his attitude - it's as simple as that.

DJ SAMMY LOVE YOU LONG TIME!! DJ SAMMY BETTER THEN NUMBA ONE, DJ SAMMY #0

roflbuttsekz0rz??!olol!!!! where's my robot woochie-coo?!

Yeah im disappointed that Tiesto took # 1 again.

Looks like Tiesto is going the way of the Yankees, becoming a DJ Dynasty :haha:

seriously though, glad to see Armin take the third spot. I wanted to see J00F take a higher spot than 27, but oh well.

Congrats also to Gabriel & Dresden for taking #42, their DJing skills arent that great but they sure as hell make up for it in their Production skills :eyes:

Hopefully Misja Helsloot or Ton T.B. will get #1 place next year.
