It shows how bad the majority of most peoples taste in music is.

Polls like this just re-affirm facts which I already knew and held to be true. Like for example that most people are idiots and wouldnt know good music if it came and bit them on the ass!

I'm just confused, so only you have the intelligence to establish what constitutes good and bad music? So music isn't subjective after all. Thank god we have you to show us the light.

Yeah, I think we realize that. But couldn't public opinion be considered a variable in measuring whether or not trance has increased or decreased in popularity? (no one is debating whether or not the poll is a reflection of talent) |

if real clubbers, house lovers, techno whores, psy-trancers, etc would vote, things would be alot different!

Mmmm yes....and let's not forget that Carl Cox at #7 produces a lot of trancey stuff as well, though he rarely spins any. Anybody that says trance is dying are just plain fools. It might change and evolve beyond the "hands in the air euphoric" stuff, but it will never die. In my mind (and obviously many others), Trance is a bona fide musical genre and deserves to be where it's at. |
