Arome - Hands Up (TheMixMaster-Remix)

Just a Remix of Arome's "Hands Up". At the moment there's a plenty of time besides University so I'm remixing a little bit. I'm not as much experienced in making professional music like other producers here, but I'm still learning ;-)

So here's the link:

Arome - Hands Up (TheMixMaster-Remix); 7:41min; 128kbps; 7.04MB

...now turn up the volume and enjoy...

Comments appreciated.

Hey man. Nice work with this one. Love the bassline. I thinks its been done well. I also think that you build the intro adn everything really well also. The lead you use is okay as well. I've heard better butit works fine.

I think the biggest problem is with the kick. Its too weak for hard trance. Its okay at the very intro and end, but it just gets drowned out when the main parts of the song are going on.

Like you own bit thats going on the 4:00 - 5:00 section of the song, and the way you blended your own melody into the original was cool too.

Nice work mate, and keep em coming.

Its got great energy - I like it.

I agree though, the it could use a different kick, better suited for this song.

Great job!

Pretty nice remix there mate! Good bass and nice use of synths. Tho since the original is hard trance too, I would have tried to do it a bit differently.

I feel there's something wrong with how the track drives... Perhaps there's some delay on the kick? It sounds a bit off, unlike the rest of the tune.

Take care!

Hi Wim.

I didn't use any delay on the kick so there shouldn't be such an effect on it. Do u think my mix is hard trance? Well it wasn't my goal ;-) Anyway. Thanks for your comment!! It's very helpful to hear any opinion from experienced producers!!

Of course I appreciate all the other opinions, too!!!!!! They help me to improve my sound! Thanx a lot!

if your goal wasn't hardtrance, you have failed.. hehe ;)

as said, the kick is getting drowned so it sounds pretty weak.

but the rest sounds really nice :)

Hi Terra.

I'm looking forward to your version!! Well, I use Reason 2.5. It's amazing what you can do with that program! I use Reason since version 1.0 and it took a very long time until I got familiar with it. Now for me it's the best way to create tracks without having expensive hardware like hw-synthies and stuff like that. What I only miss are good sample CD's with "free-to-use-vocals" or nice and hard bass drums. Any idea?

So far,
