Many football teams in their respective European leagues have many non native countrymen playing for them, yet each country doesn't crown the winner of their league the 'world champions'
What if baseball exploded on the world stage and country's played each other in a world competition, would america call the winners of their league the world champions? |

Very good my friends. Yes, the only baseball play i saw that was interesting was that one, where that guy in the stands ruined the cubs game, he like made the baseball player guy miss the ball, so the other team scored a point. then, the baseball player started yelling and getting pissed at the fan.
afterwards, the man had to be escorted out of the stadium because people were trying to kill him!! lol!! throwing food at him and stuff. what...a....PITY |

Well guys that is true, but we can not change the American people, they will never goin to change they world league to American league, the same with soccer, they will never call soccer-football. They are too hard headed.:-/ Americans only 200 years olds, our Football is older then the whole damn United States of America.
But anyways , Americans say stupid .
Why Americans call gay people a fag ? When fag means cigarette, or you can not say mate in America, becouse then they would think you hitting on them, or if i say its pissing outside when it raining,they would look at me like im stupid.
They say if you live in America, you have to talk like an American :-/

Our dialect of english is different than yours. I don't know why you get so up in arms over it. Neither one is more "correct" than the other. We have words that have different meanings here than where you are from. Heck there are different meanings to words in Ohio as there are to the same word out here on the West Coast! The fact that you think it's "stupid " just goes to show how shallow some people are, and that if you don't have anything better to do than criticize our dialect is pretty sad. You seem to have a lot of hate for people from the U.S...it makes me wonder a bit why you are even in the States unless it's against your will. Sorry.
And I've called a lot of my friends mates...and they don't think I want to pork them...so before you go thinking you know all of our dialect, maybe you should open your mind a little bit. :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

obviously we didn't send our best players over because they have no obligation to play if they don't want to...we won the 2000 baseball gold medal without any of our superstars it was all minor leaguers...obviously this year we just didn't win...no more no less |

But i guess Americans forgat , "The fredom of speech" in this country

Read the first post, it states that the purpose of the thread is for me to find out why the American league is called the world series. Secondly, i'm not European, so I hardly think I made the thread for EUropeans to bash Americans. |
