Palestinian authority is not a democracy, its TV channel is fully controled by The PLO!. and what is being shown on the telivision is not the "desire of people to fight for their land" ! but it's a way in which the goverment is brainwashing its people. all those music clips, and those statements of arafat and religius leaders is simply horrible.
What so beautiful in a child that runs to tank with a stone in his hand??? what normal society will alow this?! only proves again, that you cant compare the Israeli and the Palestinian sides of the conflict.

I fully read what Palestinian wrote and I support him in his views. I do beleive that the palestinians should be taught to defend their people.
But with terrorism.. no.
Like you enjoy defending your nation, whether it be taight to you or self taught through your experiences, palestinians have the right to want to defend temselves as they see tanks demolish theior neigborhoods and people getting shot for throwing rocks at tanks that shouldnt be there in the first place.
When the Nazi's were murdering the inncoent jews, was it "Barbaric" when they rose up and used anything possible to kill these filthy Nazi's in their disgusting exterminations? Though it happened in a few camps it still shows us how people should fight for their survival. |

If you actually think I believe that, then you really are underestimating me considerably.
It is such an appalling statement to hear "Long live the Shaheeds, and Long Live Arafat"... hence I replied with something that would equally inferioate Palestinian in a hope he would see the baselessness of his statement. I used his own term, "miltary machine" to get at it.

Nothing is beautiful about that, that is why you don't see Israel Television promote such events! This is the whole argument of the thread... who however do you see Palestinian Television promote children attacking a tank as beautiful?
You can't turn this argument around against Israel, Israel does not support or encourage violence against/by children, or self-sacrifise. |

there is a difference between people who are organizing to defend themselves, and between people who send their childeren to this!!

You can choose to ignore this example, but it serves to help me understand this. People were occupied and walled in ghettoes and then murdered for whatever reasons. Iether way, their livlihood was questioned. Some of them faught back with anyting they had, against people who had everything.
Take a look at the natives who faught back and killed children woman and men when the colonialism happened. They were fighting for their land and people....although it is ugle, these things come naturally when people are about to be whoped out or treated like pieces of s. |

look. This is plain simple.
Israel Targets whoever tries to attack. And yeah, sometimes these were cildren sent with bombs to blow themeselves up. it happened b4 lots of times. I'm not saing this one did, but when you sit near the border and some kid come closer to the tank and "watches birds" i believe you would be suspicious as well.
so yeah, maybe it was an accedent.
hardcore trancer, we both never wanted this kid to die. i dont even want my tanks in there. but i cant emagine what will happend if we'll move back. and we both know that if israel will move all it's security systems around the borders then it's a matter of hours before hundreds of these "shahids" will go blow themeselves in restaurants, shopping malls, and bus stations.

ok lets not compare a terrorist to a shahid ok??Shahid is someone whos has died in a war where he/she was defending his/her country.
A terrorist will kill anyone,civillian or non civillian dont matter.

| I really can't understand the stance of some people here that support arming children. I could accept it if it was a situation where israelis were conducting some sort of massive genocide over palestinians, but since that is simply not the case, I can't see how that is justifiable. |
