unfortunately, this is reality for thepalestinians.Their corrupt leadership has encouraged children to use violence to solve matters.
But why? Has diplomacy failed?
However, i do beleive that is is right to fight and die for your nation and people. With respect to terrorism, i think that its sad they beleive that in dying that way, they will be rewrded in the 'afterlife'.
But dying while trying to defend your people is another story.
I just hope this culture of hatred is controlled once Arafat is gone. |

Aside from the encouragement of blowing themselves up in the mosque, I see nothing wrong with the video clip Izzy posted except for the way it was narrated. Being a shaheed means that you have fought for your land and country and that you were a patriot. Quite simple really. American patriots who fought the British were shaheeds. And they saw themselves as such. This is natural. Again, zionists like to deny human nature; the desire to fight and die for your land. Like Arafat said, it is beautiful to see a child defending his country against a military tank coming to destroy his home. Courage, love, and honour. I'm against the killing of civilians and suicide bombings. But I'm not against being a shaheed while fighting the military machine. I know that if I saw that music video of the child telling his parents that he will become a shaheed, I would cry. I sometimes have the desire to become a shaheed myself. But I believe I'm fortunate enough to fight through education and the political process.

i will agree with no shame that the narration is bias, i'm sorry this is all i can bring. but i will not agree to the fact that being a shaheed as a child is ok, it is the most barbaric thing to come out of a civilization. children all over the world should be sheilded by any conflict. they should not be encouraged to raise their arms in an offensive, they should not be directed by a jihad activist to strike among the jews in netanya and tel-aviv. thier parents should not be told it is ok for their children to fight in a 'war'. children should be taught to achieve peace (as i was in highschool in israel).
plus are you not going to object to the fact that the palestnian television ran praise (multiple time) of that female terrorist who blew her self up in a restraunt? how barbaric can you be to 'celebrate' such an act?
how can there be respectable peace between the two sides if one of them is being indoctrinated into this hate as soon as they are born? i'm sorry guys it just saddens me to see these kinds of videos because i still yearn strong for peace to be worked out i belive it is possible, but obsticales such as these make it hard.

i suggest you watch 60 minutes on sunday and see what a worthless corrupt offical arafat is and how much he cares about his people. so much so that he diverted 1 billion dollars from aid that would have gone to the palestinian people into his own pockets.

No they should not be taught to kill innocents. It's not surprising though considering the situation. But I disagree that it's barbaric that a child be a shaheed. Children are most affected by the occupation army. Everything has a reason and every hate has reason You can not hate anyone without a reason. There is no need for parents to teach their children to hate Israelis. Simply seeing how their parents suffer makes children hate them. The military occupation creates the hate in a child's heart upon seeing the suffering of his family and friends. Videos aired on Palestine TV are expressing the desire of the people to fight for their land. Children who see their friends killed are affected by it. The videos on tv talk about the reality of life for people in Palestine. Of course, I don't agree with suicide bombing again and any display of encouraging it. This "indoctrinated to hate as soon as they are born" phrase is false and narrow. The indoctrination to hate was instilled in the child as he grew up seeing his family suffer. Growing up in an occupied country will make you hate the occupier.
I know the PA is corrupt, but I still support it. I think you really really need to understand that Arafat is the only man who wants a two state solution. He's the one that convinced so many Palestinians to accept the idea of a two state solution. Whether he's corrupt or not. |

how can you minimize that much the fact that kids are encouredged by Religiues leaders to blow themselves in Tel-Aviv, and Natanya?
That that little girl said she prefferes "Shahada" more than full rights to palestinians, only because she wants to go to HEAVEN?
Its not a secret that the palestinians are very religiues. those kids realy believe in waht they hear in a mousqe or on tv or from Arafat himself.

Palestinian authority is not a democracy, its TV channel is fully controled by The PLO!. and what is being shown on the telivision is not the "desire of people to fight for their land" ! but it's a way in which the goverment is brainwashing its people. all those music clips, and those statements of arafat and religius leaders is simply horrible.
What so beautiful in a child that runs to tank with a stone in his hand??? what normal society will alow this?! only proves again, that you cant compare the Israeli and the Palestinian sides of the conflict.
