liquid, diginut gave some good advice if u still want to stay in the game. Obviously heavy commitment thing scared her off.

But the little that you did tell us about her makes me think you shouldn't pursue her. Why you ask? Well, she's a lot more than you can handle (sexually). She probably has had double-digit number of "boyfriends" and she likes bad boys.

So why did she go out with you? Maybe like diginut said she found you mysterious at first or she was on the rebound from a bad boy. Bottom line hot girls like this usually have lots of guys waiting in the wings. Do you think you could handle going out with girl who's f*uck other guys or just flirting with them? IMHOP, you would go mad with jealousy before too long. If you think you were hurt now just think what it would be like if the scenario you described popped up a few months into the relationship.

how moving and inspiring...

im absolutely useless with girls...cant seem to say the right thing, it all comes out backwards...so thats my story pretty much well summd up.

but i think u did the right thing and not start any of that doink'n buisness, because u would of felt uncomfortable knowing that this so called relationship with 'jane' was based on a lie.

Don't feel bad man I had a smiliar type of situation happen to me. Because I wanted to keep things slow at the beginning, and then suddenly got all serious, I scared off a girl that I was mad about. Meanwhile all my friends were taggin and baggin, wasting no time. That was never me. You and I sound similar in our approach. Time went on and I eventually found the girl of my dreams and I'm now happily married. Don't worry, the right girl is out there for you and someday it will all fall into place. ;)

The fastest way to turn a girl off is to come on too heavy.

At first, she wanted you, but you resisted her, you were indifferent. You were a challenge. That got her excited. Now you've given it all away by telling her you feel awkward and you want to be exclusive and all that. 2 weeks isn't too early for sex (by today's standards), but it definitely is too early to be making long-term commitments. It's unfortunate that we've all been brainwashed by hollywood movies and trashy romance novels into thinking that good relationships can actually develop so quickly.

My recommendation would be back off HUGE, something to the effect of "You know, I've been thinking about it and you're absolutely right, we've only been seeing each other two weeks and it's way too early to be making commitments. I think I've just been stressed out and feeling a little weird for the past few weeks, but I'm over it now. Give me a shout if you want to get together again sometime" - and then leave, don't say anything else, don't get into a long discussion or start putting yourself down.

Whatever you do, keep things light from here on. Just back off. You may get a call back after a day, a week, a month, or you may get nothing - either way, pushing harder at this point will accomplish absolutely nothing. Don't be a doormat.

Good luck.

thanx a lot bro, actually i decided not to fret about it anymore, if she doesn't wanna be with me, it's her loss. i stopped caring now, i just wrote this rant to get the off my chest. that's why it's a called a RANT...hehe, it's all good... i'm just listing it as an experience, and now i'm going to take things easier... but not with the same girl, i'm seeing her again this weekend to go to a show, it should be fun as long as i can forget about most of it, or atleast channel it to the back of my mind.

So your options are the following:

1. Change yourself to wanting something a little less than committment.

2. Find someone else who wants the same level of committment as you.

as for my options, i think i'll take a little bit of both options. lower my expectations of myself a little bit, and try to find someone with a few more common goals than jane did.

thank you guys for all the advice and the support, appreciate it.

take care guys

Dude, do what diginut said. You could stil get some sex out of her... Sex CAN be special but it doesn't have to be. It can bring a relationship closer together, or it can be a really fun way to spend some time. It's good to get some sexual experience while you're young so that when you finally do meet 'that special girl' you are able to please her.

good point, i hadn't thought of that...but here's the thing... i had already told her that my parents were gonna be back soon, if she knew that my parents were coming back, why would she agree to go out with me in the first place, knowing that she was turned off when the parents were here (it wasn't like i was gonna be able to tell my parents about here anyways)...

plus, she also lives with her parents, and was under the same situation as i was, where she couldn't tell her parents about us...lol so i really don't see how that would've been a big factor.

i think diginut is right, i scared her off by asking for too big a commitment and i recognize that now. i have apologized to her, will be meeting her this weekend for the concert, and will see how things go from there...although i doubt i would get involved with her again cuz of all the stuff that i've already been through, but you never know where life is gonna take ya...

my 2 cents:
One thing some guys gotta understand is that a lot of of girls are just lookin to hook up and have fun for a night and with some girls you will blow any chance of a repeat relationship with some girls by trying to get too serious with them; some girls don't want comitment like that in their life and sometimes you have to deal with it.

i know that, but she wasn't like this... she broke up with her last boyfriend 4 years ago, and that relationship went on for about 3 years... maybe when that relationship went down the tubes, she got scared of commitment even if she doesn't admit it...
