I was in the shower while listening to this..and then 'Inside me' came on.
I turned the shower off to make sure I was hearing it right. then I got cold so I turned the shower back on
Inside me is a great track. mm.
anyways, love the mix.
transitions are smooth like a baby on Es ass
I think I noticed a minute pitch shift..but it might have just been my ear, because when I came back and looked for it, I coulnt hear it the 2nd time.
I mean its alomst too obvious to say, but the Max G influence is so present in your set that I love it.
Take pride, you are replacing Sasha live @ Creamfiels on my MD. Its been there ever since the set got released! |

We don't look for victims. They come to us! :) |

My very first CD purchase (once I discovered this "scene" about 2 1/2 years ago) was GU021 - Deep Dish/Moscow, and I found that your set inspired a similar mood in a number of spots for me... dark, brooding, but, most importantly, super sexy and grrrrrrrrrr...!!!!!! Like that "Inside me" track... oh baby!!! Blush-a-rama ;)
And I have to agree with Margs about the vocals - I'm a big fan of vocals and really liked the ones in Gibberish especially - they evoke memories from when I was in India so VERY nice.
I really liked your mix Jon!!!! The mood is fabulous, and I really enjoyed all of the tracks, especially Opus, Emit and Strawberry Fields. Can't wait to make me a portable version for my drive in to work...
Kewlness! :toocool:

Jon
Sorry I haven't had a chance to listen to your set yet. For some reason I am having troubles downloading it.
Maybe I can be the first to get signed CD right from your hands???
By the looks of it you up-held your status. |

| Jon: I've had this and Schryer's Halloween mix on rotation for much of the weekend. I must say, you're far too hard on yourself. Mixing is great. You make things difficult for yourself @ times (tricky mixes to execute), but you're in great control throughout. And regarding this going in a 'hundred thousand directions'? I would disagree w/ that as well. There is definitely variety, but you maintain a cohesive program a lot better than you think. The only ill-advised 'direction' would be possibly the shift back to breaks @ the end of the disc (from trancey material). That's just my opinion though. . Your taste in breaks rules! Well done M8! |
