"Don't be fooled by its cutesy looks: the TWEAKALIZER DFX69 is an extremely powerful desktop DJ effects processor with real-time control. Behind its super-intuitive user interface is the power to simultaneously control 6 functions, an incredible real-time scratch function and a super-fast and accurate auto-BPM counter. For example, you can adjust track speed using the virtually inaudible Pitch Transposer, and you also get a breathtaking LFO-controlled effects section including delay & flanger and awesome filter effects with 3 filter types (low, high and band pass), 3 filter modes (auto, manual, LFO) and separate resonance control. "

Available spring 2004
Estimated price: 129.99 (probably about $80 online)

other new stuff:

Also coming...cheaper versions of the behringer truths, probably in the 150-250 range.

The Tweakalizer has been on the Behringer website for at least 3 months with the information he provided. I am looking forward to it like mad as the perfect compliment to my DJX700.

Huge-ass mouthwatering pic of the Tweakalizer

lol, hopefully some brave soul gets it first and posts a full review on it... I STILL haven't figured out how to use the effects on my DJX700... they all just sound like a big room sound to me... but when I turn the effects knob the effect numbers change of course, but they keep flashing... even when I press the knob down to select it. I'm thinking that no matter where I turn the wheel, I still get Effect number 1. Any idea if I'm doing something wrong? It's not like the 3-page manual was of much help either.

if you press down the button and it still flashes, take it back, its broken.

Are you in tin me? So when you press it down, the number stops flashing? Every other thing works perfectly except for the effects... sure it would be nice to have them... I'm gonna email Behringer about this, I really don't want to have to send my mixer back through the mail to get it replaced or whatever and then having to wait another month to get it back. So everyone else's Effect number stops flashing after you press down the knob? Could it be that I'm doing something wrong?

Yes, when you press the knob it should stop flashing so you select the effect. If it doesn't, it's broken.

No wonder all your FX sound like Big Room, they are Big Room...

Any idea why they did it like that? I think it might be so you can switch from one effect to another seamlessly or something?

LOL Behringer Customer Service is AWESOME. I just called them, they answered immediately, the guy told me to take the knob off, just pull it straight up so it comes off, slide it back on, and the effects were working LOL. I asked him about the Tweakaliser, he said it hasn't been released yet, they don't even have one at their offices, but it seems as if it's going to be very cool... yea not much info but oh well... their customer service is awesome.

Hope the effects on the Tweakalizer match BPM somewhat better than what I heard from the DJX700..

Could be a nice addition then.. If only I had a mixer with send/return (read: if only I had money..)

The thing about the djx700 is that the BPM counters don't work well automatically. Fortunately, it's got an awesome feature built in that lets you set the BPM by tapping your finger on the beat assist button to the beat. It works and it's awesome, I think it had something like this in mind.

I know. And sure it works, but it would be better if the device did it automatically. From what I've heard, the DJM600 is far better in BPM counting..
