Hey bro, no it doesn't come in black. Only the CDJ1000 comes in black. It's just a little bit smaller than the CDJ1000 but by very very little. The Jogwheel I think is the same for both CDJs. I've tried scratching on it and it works very well, very responsive, the sound is clean as well. Check out www.pioneerprodj.com and go to the CDJ800 page and click on the tabs at the lower left pick the one that says "Learning" or something like that. Look at all the movies they have, especially the one about Scratching! Great buy!

also the weight is very light.

No it does not! The CDJ1000 changes pitch in 0.02% increments, while the 800 changes pitch in 0.05% increments. And on paper, that sounds like a big flaw, but I assure you, that you can mix flawlessly with the CDJ800s. I'm not sure if the 0.02% really makes that much of a difference, not a 400 dollar difference by any means.

btw, does that rebate/headphone offer apply only to US buyers, or
worldwide?

Sorry man, you have to be a US Resident in order to take advantage of the rebates. The only way around is if you have a friend/family in the US that can order them and mail them to you. Sorry :(

Must be just u bro, my pitch bend works perfectly. You just have to get used to it, it's like when you buy a new video game, gotta get used to the controls to master it :haha:

I know the CDJ1000/1000MK2 has 0.05% in +/-10% mode and 0.02% in +/-6% mode which is really really good

You may wind up waiting 4-6 weeks for it. At least that's been my experience. :conf:
