Bottom Line: If it sounds good on headphones and regular speakers, I don't see how it would sound "" on other speakers. Don't be too gullible.

Not to nitpick andres but the only way you can tell the difference is obviously by a comparison. If you get the chance sometime in the near future then compare an mp3 playing through some quality monitors with a flat response, to vinyl, or a pressed CD. You can't make a comparison if you don't have vinyl to compare to, or a studio oriented set of speakers.

Thanks for the review. It sounds like it's a pretty good mixer, but I'm still undecided about it. I want a good mixer with more or less the same functions as the DJX700 and I def want one with effects. Effects aren't really that important, I might use them from time to time, but it's still something I want to have.
I'm still thinking about it, I'll look into other ones as well :)

the only reason I would never buy the DJX700 is because it doesnt have balanced outputs (XLR, aka microphone cable, the 3 pronged kind). wtf is up with that

if you ever set that thing up in a club, the cable between the mixer and the amp would act as an antenna, picking up any electromagnetic interference on the way... hence making it sound like

behringer doesnt really have the right to call it a pro-dj mixer (implying club use) if there is only unbalanced (RCA) outputs

of course, a direct box could always be used to balance the connection, but thats extra $$$

Well, I don't know anything about mixers, but I'm really picky about sound quality and what equipments can give me and I usually do alot of research before I buy anything, if possible I test it myself. That's a little hard with mixers though :(
What's so good about the DXM06, I've heard alot of ppl prefer that one, but don't know why.
Any comments are appreciated:)
