yah they're amazing! The first time my brother brought them to me i had never even heard about it and he told me roughly what it was about... I was a little skeptical at first but after watching them... WOW :eyes: Most amazing story and the drawings are so beautiful! Haven't watched the anime series itself yet but from what i hear, it's a bit disappointing after the OVAs :( |

damn, hard one, Escaflowne is my personal favourite but there are a lot more that truly rocks.
for comedy: Ranma 1/2 or Love Hina
for action: Cowboy Bebop or Evangelion
for drama: Gunslinger Girl (kinda new, being fansubbed by ANBU) |

EVANGELION (the whole series) I want to see the movies too.
Haven't seen too much anime (wich I want to change)
Didn't like Vampire hunter D much nor did I like ghost in the shell much either... |

wow.. exactly my type of situation.. my friend told me about Kenshin OVA's.. and i decided to give it ago.. and the beginning scenes with all of the people screaming and introduction of his master was quite touching.. yes i definitely agree the anime is drawn to it's fullest and the final episode of the OVA (episode four i believe) was hella sad.. such power was involved during the 4 ova's..
and about the anime series.. they are compeltely opposite.. in the OVA's kenshin is very serious sad.. emotional etc. etc.. in the OVA's he's very loud and funny and the drawings are also different.. however it's good to see the OVA's then the series because you'll understand the cause of his scar.. his background.. etc. etc.
but yeah.. Kenshin OVA was the greatest mini-series ever.. |
