The 2nd Kenshin OVA was un-ing-believable. The final fight (which should have occurred after the Kyoto saga if they followed the manga) was visually stunning. And the ending was a perfect one for the series.

I've heard that movie is good but extremely sad. :( I've been wanting to watch it for some time now but I haven't gotten around to it. :whip: Oh well.
My favorite anime are Rurouni Kenshin, Spirited Away (great movie. It definetely deserved that Acadamy Award or whatever it won), and Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust. :) |

1. Memories: Magnetic Rose - omg.. this 40 minute short from Memories movie is just godly... Charming, beautiful, haunting... Gives you the desire to listen Puccini's Madama Butterfly in its full...
2. Mononoke Hime - Miyazaki's best, no doubt... Godly score by Joe Hisaishi, appealing story inspired by japanese mythology, it IS the anime everybody has to see at least once in their life...
3. Kenshin OVA - Now to tell the truth, I don't like anime series (no time for them), and thus I never watched Kenshin episodes (of which there are like more than 100)... However, this 4 episode OVA (not sure which one it is, but it's the one with the girl living with him in remote house and plotting revenge) is beautiful) is just magnificent, and tragic.. Not childish unlike other Kenshin stuff I've seen... |
