Wondering .. when was the last time you bought a 'non-electronic genre album (which means either classical, country, rock, alternative, pop, top 40, classic jokes, etc.. - whatever is to your taste) ?? ..
just going through my cds and i saw the last time i actually bought something outside the electronic genre (radio top 40 stuff) is the linkin park - meteroa .. i was like WOW .. then it came to my mind .. radio stuff is not appealing to me right now .. i don't like the current rap songs out there .. the rock songs suck .. rarely ever listen to pop .. so i catch myself listening to my cds or listen to light contemporary stuff on the radio .. stuff from the 80s and 90s (of course since i grew up during that age, so i am addicted to the music of course) .. stuff like whitney houston, mariah carey, madonna, etc .... (ok ok .. u can say it .. i am a stickler for good high vocals .. maybe that's why i like jan johnston classics, justine, etc ...) ...
so have you bought any top 40 radio cds recently??
how do you feel about radio airplay right now ? |

it's people like you that make music die and artists do not have enough money to create new cds .. you will start wondering why your favorite artists and djs cannot compile a new cd, because you never contribute to buying their cds.. buying their cds helps the artists pay for new equipment to make new albums ... oh well .. i guess you like to live in a world WITH NO NEW MUSIC .. what kind of world would that be .. where everywhere you go, you would hear nothing but repetitious music forever .. it would be like living in George Orwell's 1984... hahahaha |

I used to buy both EDM and non-EDM CDs..
Nowadays I only buy non-EDM CDs, every once in a while.. The last ones I've bought are the new Dido album and an old one from Hooverphonic..
To compensate for stopping buying EDM CDs, I started DJing :p
Also the main reason I don't buy that many CDs anymore.. *broke* |

hmmm a good few years ago.
other genres of music are not appealing enough for me to go and actually purchase and album. where as anything "edm'ish" actually has my support. so the last album i bought would be the luscious jackson album, that was quite hard to answer... |

A few years ago I bought my latest non electronic cd, Red Hot Chilli Peppers - Californication. But don't like rock no more. I only buy vinyl nowadays...
I think when cd's in general would be cheaper around 10 euro's, I would consider now and then buying one |

| Ummmm...that must be 2001 - A Rhyme Odyssey, an old hiphop compilation from Distance Recs. That was like 2-3 months ago I think. Before that I got The Flaming Lips - The Soft Bulletin and Primal Scream - Evil Heat. I really should buy more non-EDM albums, since I love that kind of music too. I think I'll make my next CD purchase purely non-EDM to get some variation. |
