Remember nobody is perfect! If you don't like it get over it and don't start asking yourself why other ppl like it.
So it literary means your brains are not ready for it or they don't like it. I have the same thing with metal. :P
And please don't let this turn to be another flame war. I feel ashamed knowing these artists are reading the boards. |

| I like them just as much now as I have since I first got into them about a year or so ago. To me yes their remixes havn't been GODLIKE but after all the quality remixes and productions they've put out in the past all you can say about their productions lately is they are average. Most people think that because they didn't produce every song exactly like As The Rush Comes and they're experimenting as they've always have that they've lost their touch or are overhyped, please, they deserve their hype. They've had more past quality tunez than I have fingers and toes and just because Fallen and Me Against The Music aren't carbon copies of the last Motorcycle tune doesnt make them bad. Although I do respect other people's opinions and some honestly do not like the style that the last couple of tunez have taken from G&D. Me personally I still love all their tunez and they're all on repeat (I didn't hear people bitching about them remixing Lili Haydn or whatver until people heard they remixed a Britney Spears tune and then they act like they knew all along that things were going downhill or something OFF). Like I said some don't like the style but if you are going to judge them saying they suck because you don't like their last two songs but they have all those other countless quality productions then your are in idiot, goodnight. |

I tend to agree, but I'm probably a bit more friendly than that. I think they're very good, but overrated compared to other talented producers out there like Ferry, Paul van Dyk, Tiesto, Sasha, Way Out West, etc.
Their remixes of Mindcircus and Southern Sun are genuine quality. As The Rush Comes is also excellent, although not deserving of Tune of the Year in my opinion, as it seems to be inevitably moving towards. The Andain project (associated with Dresden sporadically) is perhaps the best work I've seen out of them -- both Summer Calling and Beautiful Things are solid -- but even Andain is, to a degree, overhyped, I think. They're great productions, but not unprecedented productions. Time will tell if Andain will continue to be a dancefloor favorite, and consistency can often be as important as quality of the individual productions.
However, I'm not fond of the rest of their remixes, and I find the sound becoming slightly stale as of late. I can tell a Gabriel & Dresden remix from the intro beats, in most recent cases. I think that the duo should move towards more solo productions if they want to live up to the hype they've produced. |

See now thats a thought out opinion thats longer than 1 word lol. If everyone typed opinions like that it would reduce a lot of the flaming that goes on, at least some people aren't ignorant or immature and just type one word responses to talk about artists or just claim they suck for no apparant reason. |

they're completely overrated...
im beginning to see some american-bias on G&D just because they're american...just like markus schultz who happens to be also completely overrated
i give them credit for having their own style and not copying the european epic - trance style...but they still suck |

| no way can you dog markus schulz. He is THE man. His Coldharbour remixes are badass and his style is unique. |

......said by an american, of course.
I think he's right.
Though the topic was Gabriel & Dresden. Personally I think they're ok now and then. Overrated, oh yes they are! |

In my opinion G&D are great producers.
As The Rush Comes was hyped alot and that's normal because it was one of the best productions if not the best, this summer. But now every is having too big expectations of them. |
