lmao. hehe you guys are funny. isn't it hard to walk away from a post when someone tries to make fun of you.
eh. IMO longhorn is so far away form being completed I am not going to waste my time with it. There has been a ton of progress in it since the first version I saw online like 9 months ago. SO I am assuming someone at micro will listen to the endless bitching and change up the display.
And you know they always have the classic option you guys can use.
But I would suggest investing in Lindows or just linux, mucho better and mucho stable. |

Lindows is an attempt to sell software for linux and rip off windows... try redhat, suse, gentoo, mandrake or one of the other main ones..

mako and i go a long way back, it all started on irc... see, it just pisses me off that i don't do anything bad to the person and they in turn insult me. he was acting like an ass then and he didn't change a bit, so, no, i'm not walking away from this one. and no, this is not complaining.

well depends on your point of view. I think of it as a stride to combine the two, there are obvious flaws in windows that are not in linux, whichever flavor you prefer. I haven't tried linux myself but from what I am told it is a bear to setup correctly, but when it is setup, it runs like a dream.
So lindows is making the obvious step in getting a better os for people that cannot comprehend how to install mandrake or any others. Which to me sounds perfectly logical, as long as they can get compatability issues down. |
