agreed--

i love all of the thrillseekers productions, steve helstrip has a ton of other alias's and he is just amazing. plus, i hear he is just as talented dj as producer

Haha. Sorry but I find it funny reading some of you deliberate about Carl Cox, who should pretty much be a household name.

He plays mostly techno and some house (funky house, not hard house).

Phuture 2000 is old. If you want to hear what Carl Cox sounds like go download some of his sets.

i seriously don't believe that anybody who listens to dance music hasn't heard of carl cox. the guys a legend.

i love carl cox mainly because he is one of the great djs who has not sold out in any way (in my opinion at least). seriously, he has stays loyal to his fans, and maybe sacrificed the chance to alot of money, but he continues to do what he loves and does an awesome job at it. his mixes are insane, i can listen to them all day.

i feel he is underrated, but only in a sold-out pop dominated world

my 2 cents

I was cracking up hearing these n00bs talk about Carl Cox being Hard-House :stongue:
Carl Cox spins Techno and Tech-House, and he is a brilliant DJ. He doesn't do a whole lot production-wise though. Go listen to some of his sets though, you should be won over if you have good taste!

The Thrillseekers, which is a Steve Helstrip alias, are great. Haven't heard a thrillseekers track that I don't like. He's one of those uk-trance super-producers, has a ton of aliases including Hydra, En-Motion, Rapid Eye, Insigma (w/ Andy Perring), etc.

Three Drives are great to, and have been making hits for a long ass time. I don't love all their productions, but most of them are pretty sweet. DJ Ton TB & Enrico have done some solo work as well, though I think those projects have been much less impressive.
<tuss>
three drives in kick ass, my fave track by them is 'signs of the universe', in mental in a club!!! :eyes: :eyes: that tune make me jump all over the place.
