I have always wondered this, I think I know, but im not sure. What does it mean when it says *artist* vs. *artist*? Does that just mean they collaberated on the track?

Dont bash me, im from Illinois! :p
DJ Mikey Mike
Yes.

I think Vs Means there is a "third person" someone playing two different tracks between each other or over another.

If an artist collaberates Mostly you will see "featuring" or "presents" This means the artists really are involved in the outcome.

Not always true. There are plenty of tracks marked "vs." that are a collaboration between two artists, e.g.,

Airwave vs. Rising Star - Sunspot
Darren Tate vs. Jono Grant - Let The Light Shine In
Fictivision vs. C-Quence - Symbols

etc etc.

This is not the case.

"Featuring" usually means the artist being featured came on board and did something to supplement the project, but wasn't part of it at the start. Most of the time this refers to singers, eg DJ Tiesto featuring Kirsty Hawkshaw - Suburban Train, or Chicane featuring Maire Brennan - Saltwater.

"Presents" is usually when the established artist is revealing a new alias. Eg Gabriel & Dresden presents Motorcycle - As the Rush Comes, Armin van Buuren presents Perpetuous Dreamer - The Sound of Goodbye.

"vs" usually means that the artists have collaborated from the start on a project, eg M.I.K.E. vs John 00 Fleming - Ice Cream, Paul van Dyk vs Second Sun - Crush.

Hope that clears it up for you slow farming types ;):)
