Nice sounds and a cool intro. Nice pads in the breakdown as well. I can feel a bit of jiz in my pants from the breakdown. The melody is pretty cool as well, although the lead could be a bit better. That's not to say that its bad (its quite good) but if there is anywhere that could be improved. I'm being piccy though.

| Good percussion mastering sounds good but there is a lot of clipping (distortion).. but it isn't too noticable.. just reduce your levels and compress the track next time... good stuff though, sounds near-pro! |

| thanks for the comments! any one else hear distortion? :conf: i dont hear any, and there is no clipping, it was limited and maximised to 0Db, any more compression squashes the dynamics. maybe i limited too much but i dont think so... anyway, thanks for listening, glad you liked it :D |

| The clipping might be caused by the compression to an mp3.. but most likely not.. Something that works well for me is using a limiter to reduce all the short high peaks and then using a compressor to compress it to the Db that I used in the limiter. |

| hmmm it sounds pretty much the same as the high quality wav, just a slight bit less crisp. its just that i dont hear any distortion or clipping so i cant fix what i cant hear! :conf: i never apply compression to the final mix, because some parts come out louder than others, and when the bass comes in for example, it reduces the level of everything else behind it. i applied a limiter at about -7.5db, then normalised it to 0. |

| A normaliser is even better then a compressor if your going to use a limiter.. do you have AIM or MSN messanger so you can send me the original WAV? |

i'm on the uni network computers, my comp in my room is on dialup, and to transfer the wav to here by floppy would require about 100 disks with a peice of it on each. took 8 disks just for the MP3, but if you open them up in a wave editor there is not much difference. do you have sound forge? neither go above the 0 decibel mark, if you listen really quiet by adjusting your comps main volume control, not your speakers, and it doesnt distort then you know it isnt the wave. or another thing, do you play in winamp or something similar with a big EQ on it? that could cause it to distort.....

a normaliser is NECESSARY if your going to use a limiter, otherwise you will get a really quiet wave. same applies if you use a compressor that doesnt have auto gain compensation :) |

| It isn't necessary.. I've gotten a full wave from using a compressor.. a normalizer is just easier.. |

| I ran it though Sound Forge to see if it had clipping and it has a lot of 0db clipping.. which isn't very noticable.. but it isn't very pro either.. |
