Ok first of all, i don't hate on hip-hop/rap, its just i don't like it( i like some old school hip hop like:Beasty Boys, Run-Dmc,KRS-1)
New school hip-hop? eh, maybe i didn't look for underground hip-hop, but i don't think i will. I rather listen to some Jazz, Classical.

| not really into rap/hip hop but some good stuff does exist...there are innovative rappers--just check out the latest outkast cd...not at all bling bling and bitches n kinda stuff. |

That kind of rubbish that you hear on the radio really is a major turn off, more so than commercial trance, due to some of the images and ideals that it portrays.
Having said that, there are some decent (non commercial/bling bling) hip hop artists out there, just as there are alternatives to alice deejay and dj sammy. |
