Great time last night! I haven't heard breaks in a while and it was nice to get my dose of it; good music in the main room fo sho.
VIP Room was great too, people in there were up for it! I enjoyed playing there last night; crowd had lots of energy! Shout outs to Crazedcanuck, Tatgirl and her boy Graham, Muff2K and of coarse Charmscars and Matt Vagrant... nice to FINALLY meet you guys! See you on the 12th! :) |

Everyone's right -- Infusion DEFINITELY stole the show last night! (Did they do 3 encores? :) )
I've never seen the place more charged up before. It was too sweet! (Brynne and Tara; you guys really know how to rip up a floor :P )
I also checked out Deko-ze in the Lounge (Great setup btw with the Trees stuff). He's SO underrated! What a wicked DJ.
To all you TA's that I haven't yet met out there, WTF? :) I'll have to get introduced sometime. (I did finally meet one other -- CrazedCanuck. Nice to see ya again dude!)
When Infusion's back in town, I'm definitely there again! FO SHO!
Since others are doin' shoutouts, I might as well too:
Big ups to Erika, Tara, Matt, Brynne, Greg, Rob, Boris (who's not a TA yet don't think), Vinder (<- knows how to have fun!), and uhh Marg??? Where were you last night? (Yep, some of us missed ya! I think LKD wouldn't even miss a limb if he lost one :crazy: )

Well now that I'm a awake its time to post a review.
I arrived at System and K-Swing was spinning. I got right into the music once I got in there. She has alot of skills, great mixing and choice of tracks!!!
heard tracks like:
Atlas - Compass Error (Hisham's break mix)
Professor Okku - Word Unpsoken (Luke Chable remix) :whip: :whip:
Sasha - In A State (DFA remix) <-- Freeland played it also
K-Swing really got me pumped up and wanting mooooore!
Then Infusion came on, and I was looking foward to seeing them for the longest time. These guys are the freakin Kings! They put on such an awsome show of a mix of prog & breaks with some really impresive equipment. I really didn't recongnize too many tracks, they played a lot of new stuff which was amazing! (and the bass lines :eyes: ) These guys are truly great musicians.
After Infusion played those kick ass encores, Adam Freeland came up to the decks, and at this point I was already in heaven. Freeland just totally ROCKED the house with his craaazy tunes and flawless mixing with a load of equipment! Some really great tracks like:
Ils - Music (Evil Nine remix)
We Want Your Soul
Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit <-- When he played the original it really reminded me of the good ol' days!
I'm really forgeting some other tunes I heard, but this is a tracklist I have to find!
This party goes down for one of the best of the year! I had a kick ass time.

So what's with the rainforest cafe motif in the lounge. Hey guys....how about next time putting the play money into a better sound system down there instead of the oversize-papermache-rasta-monkey-smoking an arm size spliff. (If you saw it you will understand)
Super night musically though....Dekoze, thanks for the drink and great advice.....you are my mentor :happy2:
