NYTA/UKTA/TOTA Ibiza trip planned

whoa wait hold on ! lol ..
drgoodvibe and I were gonna post a thread around the time after exams in Dec. to find out who's planning on going to Europe in summer of 2004. NYTA is co-ordinating an Ibiza trip where they plan on renting out a villa.
now i know that there's a good number of you guys planning on going to Europe next summer (i don't know if it's Ibiza), but basically it'd be good to know who/when such that we might be able to plan a big meetup somewhere in Western Europe with a bunch of the other international TA's who are going.
anyways, i've been talking to a few of the NYTA's as of late and they've definately got a good thing going. hopefully more details will surface over the next few weeks and we can plan something out.

anyways yea, emz and I were gonna wait till end of exams to start planning the trip hardcore.. on www.travelninja.com
the trip consists of hitting up the loveparade in Berlin as well as other "possibles" such as Ibiza...
Personally after having gone once to Ibiza already, I definatly wouldnt be able to afford 4-6 weeks in Europe and then another week in Ibiza, it's just simply way too expensive. Unless Ibiza is the focus of the trip then.. |

that's exactly what i was thinkin as well .. if i do an Ibiza trip , then i'd want to devote all my time and resources to that one place instead of having to do splitting between it and other areas in Europe.
tho the villa's that the NYTA's have posted are quite tempting.. infact, they look mint! :eek:

as much as partying it up TA style in a villa would be awsome, I dunno i'd prefer a much central location like the Jet apartments.. 5 mins from Space, Bora Bora is right downstairs.. its awsome for meeting new people on the beach or @ the bar to party with.. but alas I think i've decided I'd rather go to Loveparade and then travel the rest of europe! Have fun to those who go, but then again I'm sure you will ;) |

Correct me if i'm wrong but wasn't there talk of the Lovaparade being cancelled?
BTW, sounds like an awesome trip...i think i might be going to Poland this summer for like 4 weeks so a Berlin side trip could be easily accomplished |

there's always talk bout it each year because of the damage that the event causes to the Tiergarten in Berlin .. but there's been no official word this year so looks like things are a go. Besides that one event generates so much revenue for the city it's crazy and i doubt they be that quick to let it all go ..

they're planning their trip in late August ..
but hold tight! we'll get a meeting going when exams are out to have all the TOTA's intersted in going talk about it.. so we'll let y'all know!
