Save nightlife in Washington, DC!!!
Some scary legislation is about to pass in DC, which would seriously f-things up royally.
It appears that the DC Council is going to enact ABC regulations which will further allow small groups in DC to BAN LIVE MUSIC, DJs and DANCING. This has already happened in Mt. Pleasant and an effective ban has been enacted by the ANC in Logan Circle. I strongly urge you to voice your support now by clicking on the link (http://www.dcnc.org/autosend.pl?asId=9) in the email below. We'll only have ourselves to blame if the music stops in DC...

| That sucks!!! Ban live dancing? WTF. That would include cultural festivals as well with ethnic groups if it indeed is that strict. Grr..I will sign. |

Stop the attacks banning MUSIC, DANCING, DJs, and ENTERTAINMENT at nightlife venues throughout the city!
how does this make any sence, what are we back in the 1930's. How can you ban dancing, that a violation of freedom. Its like saying do be happy. Its not legal here. pppffff. Glad i live in Canada, Not america land of the not so free. BTW to sign um, if i don't live in a state lol. Will it actually make a dif and what should i put them for my state haha. |
