I got my PS2 for $150.00 at best buy because it was opened!
you should be able to get them cheap RJ, under 200 new! (if you look hard enough) |

its all about your preference and personal taste in games when it comes to selecting the system. n my opinion pS2 has the best games hands down, plus if u had a ps u can play all those games on the ps2 which is a great added bonus.
ps2 has games like ff, mgs, jakII and ratchet&clank2 which is why i like it the most. |

I have PS2 and Xbox, and my ps2 is being used as a coaster for my xbox game discs right now...
other than the multi-platform games like rainbow six 3, and PoP (btw, not worth the money...i beat it when i rented it ;p...good game tho) you got:
Project Gothem Racing 2
Halo 1 and 2 (soon)
Ninja Gaiden
SSX 3 and/or Amped 2
ESPN Football / Hockey
Links 2004
TOP SPIN
Dead or Alive 3 and soon DAO Online !!! omghi2u
and others i can't think of right now ...xbox has the best graphics of the 3 systems tho and their online play is by far the best, even if it does cost like 7 bucks a month |

Anti-Aliasing doesn't appear on screenshots. Only in motion :p
and DOA3 SUCKS. And I dunno about that graphics part...maybe very slightly...checkout Resident Evil 4 to see what I mean ;) |

im pretty sure it does...lots of people post screenshots of 4x FSAA games taken from their pc
and i actually like DAO3, survival mode can get pretty intense

I remember reading a pretty detailed article on IGN about anti-aliasing, because too many people bitched about it (concerning AA, and lack of it on console game screens); basically what they said is that anti-aliasing doesn't take effect until it's in motion. It makes sense, because there have been screens of games such as Rogue Leader for Gamecube, for example, that were full of "jaggies"; but when u saw the game in motion it was all SMOOTH. Plus, the screen-capture software used for consoles can be rather lacking at times.
But yea, Ninja Gaiden looks in sweet. |
