- Allright, Im lookinf for a great, affordable, yet rediable in size digital Camera. Im looking in the prices between $500-400 ( yes, I got in mind those 500+ cameras that come with rebates in Amazon .. they end up been like 500 or 450 .. some even lower. ).
For those who own digital cameras, or might know more about them, features, sizes, pros and cons.. please post and let me know.
The ones that Im been confused about ( Ive been reading every review )..
Are the
- Pentax Optio 550
- Sony DSCP10 Cybershot 5 MP Digital Camera
- Sony DSCV1 Cybershot 5 MP
- Canon Powershot S50..
Im looking into those cameras, since they fit the price and Criteria Im looking for ( 5.0 Mega Pixels and a decent zoom - they come combined as Optical x digital zoom.. ).. I found this cameras to be among the bests into that.. so any feedback here will really be aprecciated, and impulse me or lend me into one more then the other and make the final decision... Thanks ! |

no offence to the canon whores out there but
SONY
if you want amazing shots, get the F717, a bit big, but oh so much better than the rest.
if you had the budget, F828 mmmmmmm 8.0 megapixels wonder for under a grand! |

depends on what you want
if you like to tinker with settings like flash level, exposure settings or whatnot:
canon and minolta are the best
youreally have to know what you are doing though or the pictures will be blurry
if you want a simple point and shoot camera
pentax
good automatic stupid proof pictures:
sony
they tend to oversaturate their pictures though so the images look alittle unatural
as far as overall image quality... canon is the best hands down. but the minolta dimage f100 [4mp] has alot more settings than canon...like the exact shutter speed which is nice. |
