internet explorer problem loading pics.

is something wrong with my internet explorer or perhaps my internet service? periodically IE will load my webpages and all the text that's on the page but it refuses to load any of the pics, or only a handful of pics?
can somebody please help me out? |

did you check the 'internet options' under 'tools'? in the advanced there should be a place where you can check or uncheck certain things, i think one of those things are "images"
my IE can't download, its a in prick. Cant seem to fix it either :( |

thanks for the heads up hooknife, now get back on the short yellow bus and stfu.
There are no red x's, it's just a blank where the pictues are supposed to be (appears to be permanently loading) I'm not on dial up, i have cable internet. I dunno what the hell is wrong with my computer, it's not a full cache ( i emptied it to be sure). |

sometimes, if the pic is missing on target site, it obviously won't load on your box. What many people don't realize is that all the content from the website, when you view it is sent to your machine. If some appears and some does not, it could be:
a)problem with the site
b)problem with your connection
c)configuration setting
d)program required to execute the image is missing

If you havn't rebooted, do that
Check under Tools>Internet options>Advanced>Multimedia make sure 'show pictures' and 'show image placeholders' is checked.
'show image placeholders' shows where the images *should* go
If it's still being a bitch try upgrading to the latest Internet Explorer. |
