It's short.. the beginning is too long and the kick is distorted.. aside from those 2 issues the track has a pretty nice sound

a)its a clip
b)distorted kick? TECHNO

thanks for listening ;p

Your track shouldn't be distored (clipping) if you havn't realized this then you obviously havn't been making music very long.
Sirocco
many techno producers (one is liebing) distort (or clip) the kick on purpose. this gives the track a raw edge and makes it uneasy.
alanzo
Chris Liebing's tracks and kicks are not clipped - he uses a distortion effect to give his tracks the distorted "edge" but the actual wave is not distorted (clipping).. again, you probably have not been making music very long...

it really is not right to say that.

it could have been

a) the monitors
b) the headphones
c) the soundcard
d) bad file exportation
alanzo
What? It wasn't any of those, it was your track that was distorted.

its not my cup of tea but its produced well.

the kick sounds fine. my headphones and speakers pick it up well. it doesnt sound distored to me:conf:
Haak

I can't hear any audible artifacts caused by the clipping, but the track is indeed clipping. Clipping means that its exceding 0db, and more often than not this can result in audible 'clicks' and 'crackles'.

Lower the volume to prevent clipping.

As for the song itself, I find it pretty boring, maybe becasue I'm not into this genre, either way, it's not 'pumping' enough.
