and to bomberFAG...his mass graves hold 300,000 bodies alone. these are MASS GRAVES. im not taking into acount the amount of lives that were lost at his hand because of wars. |
i wouldn't generalize if i were u. Such generalizations could lead into hot debates that are useless. In the mean time, please quote a very valid and recent source that has that figure u mentioned earlier. I would personally love to see that. |

well either way.. i lived in Egypt and i lived in Saudi arabia for half my life. All i know is ALOTTA ppl go to school and my guess would be more than 80% of the kids in Egypt go to school.
look at the top three professional fields: pharmacy, doctor, engineering. Chances are if u run into an Egyptian, he or she is one out of a three. If not, they're still a univ. grad.
usually these sources do not look at specefic areas but rather generalize and look at the Middle East as a whole. In Canada, we got our Newfies and our rocket scientests. U can't look at Newfiland and say "Canada is pretty dumb".
that's exactly what ur sources do. Therefore if ur source is flawed, your information is flawed, and ontop of all that, sorry to disapoint u but ur really supporting a lost cause.
middle eastern folks are not stupid. They're just brainwashed from the islamic extreemist regiemes that are run by the likes of Bin laden and our late captured friend here. |

Excuse me? I take offense to that. I've kept quiet about the other political ignorance in this thread, but you need to learn when to keep your mouth shut. Please keep inflammatory statements like that to yourself.
Rocco, I've had other Egyptian friends and I know what you're talking about, but I don't think that Egypt is really part of the whole Iraqi "connection". You and muzik are BOTH generalizing for a large number of Arabic/Islamic areas and neither one of you can be correct. Some of these countries really do have some of the worst education in the world; some of them have very good education. I think Iraq is probably leaning toward the former. |

you have to generalize when speaking of a community of so many nations. obviously egypt will be different than sudan. |

but mujiskz u said the middle east. That alone is general.
this is where exactly most problems start. |
