1.astral projection - mahadeva [john 00 fleming mix]...what a remix...simply owns original....
2.motorcycle - as the rush comes [markus shulz mix]..amazing dark mix...after seven 7 minutes it turns into a green martian track...i call it "end of the world" music.
3.coldplay - clocks [gabriel & dresden bootlet mix]..another winner..amazing mix..wow...only G&D could of pulled it off..
4.airwave - when things go wrong 2003..i love it...owns original....
5.avril lavigne - i'm with you [leama & moor mix]..out of no where this monster song came out...OMG..its incredible how 2 people could take the original turn it into this... |

Hmm... In no particular order:
Motorcycle - As The Rush Comes (Armin van Buuren's Universal Religion Remix)
Not counting the Sweeping Strings mix, Armin's remix is great. Is it his standard sound and quality? Yes. But that alone puts it ahead of tons of other remixes.
UNKLE - In a State (Sasha Remix)
When Sasha produces, he makes sure it's worth it.
Underworld - Born Slippy Nuxx (Paul Oakenfold Remix)
I didn't think anyone could effectively remix Born Slippy, but Oakie proved me wrong. Has anyone else noticed that his recent remixes are quite good?
Michael Splint pres Eruption - I Feel Free (DJ Choose & F 'That Mucho' Remix)
Before they started ripping off this sound on successive remixes, this one blew everything up with its power and style.
Mauro Picotto - Coldfunk
Basically a remix of Clocks, I think it's easily the best one.
Hope I didn't miss anything.
Edit: Oooh, Dogzilla - Dogzilla (Mistress Barbara Remix) was really good too. |
