| All these posts about Armin Van Buren, Tiesto, and PVD. No Doubt they are illusive DJ's but have we forgot about the great Paul Oakenfold? If anyone still thinks Oakie is the best post here, we should continue showing him our support.:gsmile: |

| His recent working has been alright, but you gotta love the man for what he did in the past! |

I would, if he never got such a big head.
Can't stand him for who he is more than the crap he's been playing for awhile now.

Here's my stand on Oakey:
He got me into the scene. I've never stopped loving him. I've never gave up on him. He still is the greatest in my book. I hope Oakey never retires. I will always be thankful for him and his music. His stateside/presents sets are consistantly good, and his productions are gettin better. His next artist album will turn everyone's heads and then everyone will like him again. Ignorant logic the majority has really.
It's so stupid how people stop liking DJ's, and then all of a sudden like them again. Its like they're all about jumping on the bandwagon. Its FAKE. Oakey has been ahead of the music scene by at least 2 years. Oh yeah, I said that.

Yeah oakey was one of the first to get me into it, although he should probably retire one day from being a dj ;) and maybe just be the boss of perfecto and helping other artists and stuff. |

He just changed his sound...I've head alot of his recent work, and I can't complain, he makes some really cool remixes of songs that you wouldn't really think would be remixed...Dave Matthews and POD for example.
Swordfish soundtrack was AWESOME, so was Bunkka, yeah you heard me, I liked Bunkka, minus that starry eyed suprise piece of , but other than that...
And his latest mix cd, Greatwall was really good too.
He's a good producer and a good DJ, I just listen to his music, I dont give a if he's an in real life... |

| Oakey used to be the best from 97-9 but his change in sound is more americanised where he spends most of his time, and for those who wanted the old oakey sounds, we don't get them, and miss them as he was capable of the most mindblowing sets for cream & many others. it's a shame really, he'd easily beat tiesto if he was spinning the better trance again :( |
