how can you call G&D cheese? If anything on the list is cheese, it's Rank 1, who are supposedly REALLY boring DJs.

They are cheese. ATRC was a great tune though, before it got overplayed. Rank 1 is definitely the headline act at this party.
If only they were doing a live PA as well, i would die. ah well.

the difference between G&D and Rank 1 is that one spins 2003 cheese with one good tune. the other spins 1999 cheese, which isn't cheese because it's classic. such is life, awakening, etc etc those are more nostalgic songs than anything else. it helps that those are the last generation of songs during a time when trance was completely different (much much much much much better if you ask me). what did G&D do? make one song about x? thats so lame. even if it is a good tune. or was a good tune before everyone listened to it more often than ginos listened to dj sammy.
im pretty sure rank charges upwards of 35g US for a live PA. with all that talent there that night, I'm not surprised that Guv chose not to do that. Either way, it's exciting to have them back in Canada.
omg and Infected!! I'm going to see them twice in one weekend!! so amazing, no better suppliment to all that cheese IMO. |

Nice one. Stellar lineup worthy of some of the events we dream of happening here. Too bad we won't get a live performance from Rank 1 as that is truly where their talent lies - anyone who's seen the DVD knows what I'm talking about. Regardless, it will be great to have them here - hopefully they hit us up with a great set. Looking forward to G&D - for those that think they're cheese just because ATRC gets played, get real - these guys are a treat to hear live as I have just seen them at Gatecrasher NEC. Just take a listen to one of their recent sets - some great re-workings.
Anyway looks like it will be a fantastic night and looking forward to seeing IM as I missed them the last time they were here. And all for the low low price of $15?? wow...can't complain about that! |

| All I have to say on this subject is that i've known about this for a while..... except i thought that only gabriel and dresden were coming. NOW that i know that infected mushroom are coming, i'm even more psyched about it than i was before!!! I've seen infected before, and they're incredible!! i'm so PSYCHED for this!! |

whooooooo every few weeks I've been seeing a new act added to this event. im so freakin there!
g&d have bene remixing a lot of mainstream tunes as of late, and i really really like Duncan Sheik - On A High, Evanescense - Hello, and Jewel - Intution. I'm not sure I could really shake my ass to all of those, but I can definitely chill for a bit to them. |

Saw Infected Mushroom @ Guv in August and man oh man, was it fun!!!!
Toronto has been kicking ass these last couple of months in terms of bringing in tons of talent - keep it up guys!!!!!!!!!!! (as will my wallet and I :) ) |
