Here it is ye bastards, early christmas gift ;) Dont say I never did nothin for ya.

BTW, if you're looking for professional journalism, you might be disappointed. If you're looking for an interesting read, useful information, and dancing purple hippos, then enjoy.

EDIT: And a little clip of this sound in action in my track, Sapphire:

Sweet!!! Thanks State, this is what I wanted for Christmas :)

Holy , that sample sounds awesome dude.
DeZmA

NP guys, glad you enjoyed it.

MK-S: Thanks! Sorry the tutorial isn't really useful for the Reason crowd but you're not one to need one, so no big deal. :)

DeZmA: The track's been available on my site for nearly a month.

EDIT: It is an outdated version though, i've raised the production quality on it a little bit, less clicking hi hats and a smoother sound, better eq, plus i've added the sweeping synths to the breakdown like you hear in the sample.

I tried that tutorial and my pad sounded like junk :haha: Man I suck at programming. I need like one of those visual tutorials with a mouse showing exactly whats goin on. this, i'm saving up for a jp8000 and gettin those veangence banks. pad problems solved. it's enough of a headache mixing and mastering and coming up with a good melody and bassline, than to also have to worry about synth programming. It's a shame because if i knew how to program id be unstoppable. I got signed to Above The Sky Records this month, and only last christmas i was playing around with ejay. It sucks for those who havew good musical skills but no programming skills. If only they would come out with the trance patch generator :stongue: State, where did you learn how program synths so well? Is it just one of those inborn talents?

great tutorial... just gotta fix my PRO53 now, caus for some freaking reason i only get it as a DXi and not as a VSTi....
soo the hole pluggin is messed up.. for example i can't have 2 notes on each other..... if i do it will only play one of them... and becaus of this i can't use it for strings/pads :/

dbl: Thats not a bug man, that's unison at work. Unison concentrates all voices into one note so that there are none left for other notes. It makes that one note very thick.

trancenrg: You probably skipped a step. I did a supersaw lead tutorial back in early spring and people skipped steps like pressing the "kbd" button. I'd go through it once more and follow my instructions exactly:)

I reuploaded the site after clarifying a few things that might have been shady if you're not too familiar with the pro 53. As it is now, it's pretty cut and dry, just went through all the steps on the pro 53 to make sure I didn't leave anything out and it sounds as it should.

am sorry but thats the biggest fun of producing, when you make something that sound WOW in your mind, than it's a job welldone, it doesn't need to be right the first time, i never see anyone opening pro53 and make the best supersaw pad in 5 minutes ..

even with tutorials, i still think experminting is the best way to improve IMO.
