Guvernment or Raveolution

Hi there
I got some friends comin over from chicago to spend NYE over here and I was just wondering where should I take 'em. Since i'm new to TO myself, I have no clue which place would be better. Viva or Guvernment. Be the judge. Tell me which place is better and why. All responses would be highly appreciated. Time is ticking for me :( |

Guvernment is definately not a rave scene although c=ocassionally they have the odd INternationalo Dj's at KoolHaus which is part of the same complex.
If you do not mind the drive to Vietnam... sorry Markham then I suggest Viva Nightclub.
As well Guvernment is still a poser nightclub not a rave scene at all!
Viva will have 2 rooms, actually 1 room hold approx 1500 people and they are setting up a heated circus tent as the second room with seperate sound and lighting system.
One room will be Jungle and Drum/Bass and House the other Techno and Trance. So a little bit of somethin' somthin' for all to celebrate into the New Year!
P.s. I was at Viva Christmas Eve and Had a great time! so I will make the drive up.www.vivanightclub.ca |

| I went to NYE at Guv (spent most of the night in KH where MO was spinning) and didn't find it too thrilling. |

thanks man...that's the kind of answers i've been looking for. I guess we've all done our share in both clubbing and raving and as far as the music goes let's face it. Aint nothing special going on in neither of those places. That's why i'm in need of your opinions about those clubs. Wanna see lights that will blow my mind away plus good sound system...hot girls wouldn't hurt neither :D I'm seconds away from getting those tickets for raveolution.
Now to answer the question why not go to Chi-town for Mauro. Well i guess this is not the issue here, is it? Why not go to NY for Sasha? I'm stuck here and my crew is gonna be stuck here with me. It's TO this year and no way around it. |

That's not true for NYE... I went there last year for new years and the majority of the crowd is white. |
