ok so i just finally have to say something...its about my sister.
ok so i've had this girlfriend for about 1.5 yrs now...and things are wonderful (although she is gonna go in the peace corps soon :(), but the problem is with my stupid ass sister.
it all started back when i first started to go out with this girl. going to school (and my sister is older than me) i of course knew and hang out with a lot of those people naturally right? so anyway, i started dating this girl, who my sister knew and all, but they werern't friends or anything, and sister throws a ing hissy fit. she's bitching about how she has had problems in the past and that she DIDN'T ASK HER PERMISSION!!!
now let me tell you about my sister...she is the most stubborn, conceded, ignorant person i know...and that is exactly what is causing the problem. first off...i'm an adult and it is just obsurd for her to think that women have to get HER PERMISSION to date me...seriously...we're both in our twenties here...i'm younger, but this ain't high school for crying out loud. the rest of it as far as the past "problems" she has had is total rumor mill gossip. i know what she was getting at, but it was totally the actions of an immature (freshman year kinda stuff) that no one is without.
so this girl is amazing...my folks love her...i love her (i plan on marrying her someday) everyone else in the world loves her...except the bitch. and its a real problem because i can't bring her around when my sister is around because they hate each other (my girlfriend eventually found out that my sister was saying all this nasty about her so they obviously DON'T get along). i'm sure that my girlfriend would be the bigger person about it and just solve the problem, but it really is hopeless due to the inpenetrable bitch that is my sister. god she makes me so mad.
anyway, i don't know i'm just so ing sick of it. my sister ed up in school so now she lives with my parents and when i see her i find myself always starting fights and ...i really just wish she would move the out and go do something with herself. i don't think anything is gonna change...she still seems to think that its all my fault that she is doesn't like my girlfriend...she seems to think that i've choosen my girlfriend over her (and to a certain extent that's now true...i'm not gonna apologize for dating a wonderful girl). i don't know why i feel the need to type this, and congratulations to anyone who read it all hehehe...i guess this is just my bitching, but she totally ruined any type of future relationship we could have had because she is so stubborn and unwilling to admit that she was wrong. you agree with me don't you? |

I guess your sister is scared that you'll suffer the same fate that she did, hence her slightly over-protective reactions. Just tell her that you're thankful that she cares that much for you, but also tell her that it is your decision and your decision alone who you choose to enter relationships with, and all the impact she can have on it is giving you her advice, period.
In short, tell her to off. |

dude that only happens on 6 feet under. grosssssssss.
dont worry about it at least your parents like her. i know parents who practically dosown their kids for dating/marrying certain ppl. just think of the fact that it could be worse. also, have YOU!! ever thought about moving out? that would solve some problems. |
