Is Soulseek dead?

I haven't been able to connect in many days, and now if you go to the site www.slsk.org, it seems to be a registered company that requires you to pay.
Does anybody know what's going on, or is this old news and I've totally missed the boat? I heard something about audiogalaxy becoming legitimate...is that the same as soulseek? |

it's still good for those of us who don't know the inside line on file sharing programs...thought it is suicide-inducing slow most of the time. |

It was...I think maybe they forget to re-register the domain name when it expired and someone else jumped on it?
