One word to describe return of the king game is this = FRUSTRATION.

Complete frustration. The movements sucked. The controls sucked. The gameplay sucked. The level of difficulty is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY of the scale.(And I'm speaking of easy mode here people)

I played about 3 levels of it before I gave up.If the witch king couldnt be killed by any mortal man.. well you could say the same to the King of the DEAD.

My mouse is now in total wreck because you have to click it like a zillion times because of the massive amount of enemies.

Seriously.. they really did make it like its Aragorn vs 100 orcs in the game.

Rating 2/10

I agree. I was so excited when I was playing the very first level because it had everything, lots of fighting, action, awesome music, but that soon changed when the game took this 180 degree turn for the worst. I don't know how this happened but it did.

i dunno about the pc version, but the one on ps2 in owns. awsome graphics, gameplay, controls (using the right analoge stick for attacks), multiple game paths, and a damn good challenge. although, i never beat it, cuz i only rented it for a couple days.

I'd hold judgement until I played the console version... PC's arent made for the 3rd person genre like rotk. Just like consoles suck for FPS.

Can't agree more with this statement :)

I played the crap out of the Two Towers game on PS2, I thought it rocked :D Especially the way Legolas moves around!

I think you probably need to get used to the whole Middle-earth thing, the whole idea of the books/films is that it's about courage in the face of overwhelming odds - looks like they've tried to carry this across to the games as well

i dunno the game owns...i passed it on easy and normal and now trying on hard....u need a gamepad to play though...too hard on keybord and ....so wtv still fun as hell...dont get why u bitching about the undead king...lol

I've read several reviews about it, and if I remember correctly, one person's words went something like this: "The developers must have been like 'HA! Bet you can't beat THIS now can you?' It's as if they're fighting with the player."

The movement controls just sucked OK.

Maybe thats why I never liked playstation games like tomb raider and silent hill.

If it was FPS view, then I would have considered playing this game with much more effort.

Now, its in my recycle bin..

It's not the best game I've ever played, but I like it. Just had to get used to the camera-angles & controls.

I've played the whole game in Normal Mode. I tried to play all the levels on Hard Mode, but had to switch before I went .

The bonus level "Palantir Of Sarumann" is really hard! I've tried to play it with Gandalf @ experience level 15, I managed to complete 14/20 waves before I got slayed!

For those of you who played this on your PC, well, theres your problem. This game was designed for consoles, so of course its going to suck on the PC. Try it out on PS2 and you will like it. I played it co-op at a friends house and it was fun as hell. I might consider buying it once I get some money.
