Just want to see what peoples opinions are on trance in TO. There is some big names coming up and i am thinking maybe there is a growing vibe in TO.
Add to the list if you can..
August 4th - kimball collins
August 11th - SLINKY PRESENTS - Guy Ordanel and Gary white
Sept 15th - Dj Sakin
Sept 27th - Johan Geilen
Tiesto will hopefully fit himself nicely in there somewhere. |

I always happy to see some local talent spinning trance.
I am just talking about names coming in to TO instead of them looking us over as they fly to some place in the US, if they even cross the ocean.
I know Kimball Collins is from the US, but the top dawgs that i want to see, seem to have a phobia of North America, FERRY get your ass over to Toronto CORSTEN, for example. |

I know what you mean though, a lot of peeps take for granted how many good names come to Toronto. I am sure as hell greatful....I drive up to t.dot all the time for the talent!
I doubt Ferry Corsten will be in Toronto anytime soon. He was supposed to play a year or so ago at Atlantis. He never showed...it sucked. Then, he was supposed to come again to Meow and cancelled to do a MTV gig in the states....lame.
Promoters and parykids alike in Toronto are bitter to System F...
Don't get me wrong, I would love to see him, but I don't see it happening soon.

Some of the promotors and most of the Party kids are ing retards :) Promotors can lick nuts.....it's the club owners that will make this scene....It dosen't take much to be a promotor in this town :P Sorry bout the bitterness..but there are alot of good promotors out there don't get me wrong .... :) |

In my opinion Toronto has a very strong trance scene,you just have to know where to find it. T.O has very talented local dj's like -The Prophecy,
St.Pete, Kid Epic,Satori,Drag n'fly, the list goes on. I personally think that many people are too caught up in all the big name international dj's coming to Toronto.Dont get me wrong, i too enjoy dj's like Jon the Dentist or a mark EG when they come to Toronto. The main problem in the Toronto scene is that there is too much politics.
