Lol, I was just commenting on your mileage, that's all. Everything past that comment was directed towards the creater of this topic. Hell I don't like big bulky chicks, they don't look attractive at all. Just seems a little odd that you can do 500 crunches and all you run is one mile, that's all. I AM a guy btw, I'm not sure if my name implies masculinity or not, but just to be safe :).

I only run a mile because that's how much I feel like running. I didn't say that was all I could run. With my schedule I have to uphold between classes at the Uni, work, my sister's twins, and friends... I simply like to take a short jog/run in the mornings to clear my head. The crunches I do, as stated previously, out of habit before going to bed.

It is in fact, quite possible to be able to do 500 crunches nightly without much problem if you're extreemely active in sports. My whole life I swam and played soccer. If you've been doing crunches for a few years, 500 doesn't phase you too much. Normally I throw on music and go at it, and that's how I clear my head.

However, I shouldn't have to justify my workout. This thread was started with the point of asking what kind of workout everyone here does, and that's what I do. If I needed an opinion, I would have asked for it :p. Like I said, those figures aren't my capability, they are simply what I've grown accostumed to doing.
UWM
Monday - Chest / Triceps
Tuesday - Back / Biceps
Wednesday - Shoulders / Abs
Thurs - Off
Friday - Legs

Also everyday I run 2-3 miles and I do 250 crunches. My wednesday routine I just focus more on ab work with weights / different excercises.

I've just restarted this routine recently, I worked out religiously for two years and due to several circumstances I kind of gave it up. Now, though, that I'm working on getting myself back in line this is a good motivating tool.

is it REALLY harmful for a girl to take testosterone supplements to build muscle mass in a shorter amount of time??
Nell
no its ok, but be prepared to be moody/angry, horny, frustrated and have little patience. depends on how much you take though.
Nell
oh and if you want abs guys, do slow situps with large weights on your chest, that makes them larger and stick out more. once you get to the right size, just rep on the current weight to tone them perfectly. once you get to the desired size in any bodybuilding, maintaining is the easiest part! of course you can do both weights and reps but it takes longer and the effects are not as visible straight away.

and for those who want to go from fat to muscle, you have to strip yourself of the fat first before building up again (low carbs plenty of cardio).

any help?

man, dont listen to these guys, they dont have a clue.i bodybuild properly.are u looking to bulk up? then i suggest you follow these 3 steps...

1)eat heavy - 20x your bodyweight (in lbs) in calories (at least) ie:150lbs x20 = 3000 calories per day.with 2grams of protein per lb of bodyweight.ie:150lb x 2 = 300 grams of protein daily.pm for diet breakdown with carbs and fats.
2)lift heavy - go to failure.do 3-4 sets.increasing the weight as you go.youll notice youll lift less each time.this is the best way to build muscle.by shocking it into growth.
3)sleep heavy - get plenty of sleep.muscle grows while your asleep, not in the gym.

in terms of a routine,go for the classic.its tried and tested and i swear by it...

mon - chest/triceps
wed - shoulders/legs
fri - back/biceps

dont do anymore.rest/recovery period is very important

pm me for exercises.the best way to increase your knowledge is to get on bodybuilding forums, the best being http://forum.bodybuilding.com.register there.im 'Zombikiller' on it.pm from there if you want.theres LOADS of info there.

at the minute im bulking up.ive gained 21lbs of muscle since november 6th from eating 5000 calories per day and lifting heavy.

remember,consistency is key.

good luck :)

been workin out for a while now..i like to workout each muscle individaly so i work out 6 times a week...chest,back,shoulder,bi's,tri's,legs..those r my 6 days..i get the most out of each muscle...about 6 excersises, 4 sets each excersice and 12-15 reps per set...if u want defenition less weight more reps..if u want mass less reps more weight..if u want to work combos..then i suggest chest/biceps, shoulder/triceps,back n legs..those r the best combo..never work tris and chest on the same day that is a big mistake...because the chest uses alot of triceps so they get tired quickly..and try to do some chins, dips n pushups in ur routine they do wonders for the body..i used to be a personal trainer so i know wht i am talkin about.

very hearmful as it disrupts the estrogen production as test is primarily produced by men and so causes various side effects such ass...
Ance, oily skin, clitoral enlargement beyond minimal, aggression, hair loss..male style, hair growth especially on upper lip and chin, hair loss, darkened hair growth, quickened hair growth on legs and arms, lowering of voice tone, distruption of normal menstral cycle, aggression.

with permanent sides being...
Voice lowering may improve immediately after use A LITTLE but will NEVER
return to normal. Some girls are affected minimally and still sound like a women and others end up sounding like a man if they continue with the steroid. Clit growth remains...androgenic swelling goes away but the GROWTH remains. Some long time and heavy users have grown a little penis(TRUE!)

so overall its not advisable.

with the correct diet/training building muscle will not be a problem...

i get maximised growth from this and from having used a different routine (chest/bi) i can say that i have gained FAR better using this split.90% of bodybuilders train with this split.definately the best IMO...
