Final.....4 - 3 for the Americans.
Canada gave up 3 unanswered goals, with the final one being a clearing attempt by Fleury going off his teammate into their own net. Tough way to lose, especially to THOSE AMERICAN BASTARDS!!!!! (just kidding). We have to remember how young our team was this year.....youngest in the tournamnent i believe. |

I hate losing to the Americans, no matter what the sport is. But they were due to win a Gold (their first in this tournament). Whether we as Canadians like it or not, the Americans are only going to get better in international hockey...they do outnumber us 10-1 in terms of population to pick talent from.
I still say it was a mistake cutting Corey Perry. |

| The ING YANKS had no ing business beating us and this pissed me off just like last year with losing to the cherry picking pussies from Russia (ing commies). I did see that 8 players on TEAM USA were actually CDN BORN Sellouts (join the list boys...with greg rudeski,lennox lewis and brett hull...you all irk me). Andy Murray's son should be ashamed of himself doing that to our country after his father is a CDN CITIZEN and a coach who coached our national team. He is on my blacklist forever :D. Tho the pussies from the states will be crying come Sept 2004 when the World Cup of Hockey happens and Team Canada can get even with TEAM USA for this win (but this is the real boys playing tho). I do take solice in the following, even tho losing to the States in any sport in unacceptable. Notice how all the Europeans disappear come playoff time in the NHL and really most of the Americans as well and who leads the teams to the stanley cup..CANADIANS!. Look at last year's playoffs, New Jersey won with basically 4 Canadians JOE N, Stevens, Rob N and Brodeur with a CDN COACH!. So if any Americans are reading this, we own the NHL (even tho you bastards own the teams). Then I thought, the greatest American born player was joe mullen and let's see Howe was CDN, So was Orr, So was Lemieux and the GREAT ONE! and just about everyone else worth a damn. Long and the short of it, CANADA OWNS HOCKEY, thank you very much! |

you piss me off ! Canada would've lost to Russia as well have Russia reached the final(even despite the ty team that we have this year).
Canadian juniors simply don't have what it takes to win this tournament, and the fact that Canada lost three finals in a row proves it ! |

the Russians were crap this year..absolute CRAP. Did you even watch any of their games? Canada has lost three straight finals, but they have won 10 since the tournament began in 1982 and 5 straight from 92-97. These boys were young and many of them will be back next year. They have a lot of pressure from the whole nation to win...unlike the US where maybe 40 people were watching. I'd like to see you play in that situation. Fleury tends to make bone-head decisions and I'm glad he won't be in the Canadian jersey next year.
