this basically sums up the whole game. They didn't deserve to win...it's not like they totally outplayed our boys and got a a great tying and winning goal. Nope...they tied it and won it off two freaky, flukey goals that just make you shake your head. The Americans always seem to win that way. Oh well...we still have 10 golds compared to their one.:D |

well, you know...Hitler's Panzer divisions did manage to conquer Poland before Britain and France could even declare war.....ok, I'm exaggerating a bit.;) They put up a good fight with their cavalry....against tanks. It was a nasty business. |

imo, both teams were great. The americans pulled off 2 great shots, one right over fleury's shoulder and one just between fluery and the post. The other goal they made hit something and went right over fluerys shoulder.
And of course the 4th goal :rolleyes: I guess we can say that fluery made that shot. Did you see marc fluery making that last goal? priceless, he just laid there for 4 seconds. |

it was perhaps his motivation for stating why Poland "sucks at war". Some historians laugh at Poland's effort against Germany, others take on the view that they fought on even though they knew they would be crushed. (I mean come on..tanks, bombers vs. men on horses with lances.) But yeah....:D |

anyways, i'm still very sad about the canadian loss. when i heard the scores from the second period i was sooo happy. but when i found out they lost at the end it ws heart breaking. |
